Larva vs Perfectman Winner Interview
Interviewer: First off, Congratulations on your victory! You beat Perfectman today, what were your thoughts on the game?
Larva: Perfectman was much more prepared with his builds than I had expected. I seriously thought I was gonna lose for a second but I won so I feel great! I plan to try my hardest against who ever I meet in the Semi-Finals.
Interviewer: What did you think were the most important, most dangerous and most victory assured moments of the game?
Larva: On Electric Circuit, I lost a game where I was incredibly ahead. I felt as though I was starting to tilt. To top it off, I even lost the next game on Wind and Cloud and I thought I would lose the match. I went into the match with the mindset to produce good quality games and in the end I ended up winning which made me real happy.
Interviewer: Were there any special builds or areas of the game you focused your training on for your match against Perfectman?
Larva: The 5 pool on the first game was prepared. The rest of the games I just used the more standardized builds and tactics according to each map.
Interviewer: You've already played twice in the offline, in the ro16 and the ro8, and are soon to play in the Semi-Finals. When comparing online and offline play, what do you think are some significant differences?
Larva: It's so cold here hahaha! My hands felt like they were freezing.
Interviewer: But we turned on all the heaters for you (despite everyone else saying it was too warm)! I'm sorry that you weren't able to play in the best of conditions. We will try our best to accomodate your needs in the future. So, in the Semi-Finals, is there anyone you would like to play against?
Larva: Hmmmmmm.. I don't really have someone particular in mind. I have confidence in my play and I think I'll be able to take on anyone.
Interviewer: Currently, We have Pusan and Cola currently warming up in the waiting room. Between the two of them, who do you think will win?
Larva: I think Pusan will win... but I hope he doesn't attack too recklessly! (This is a recurring Pusan "joke")
Interviewer: For the ro8 of the Sonic Starleague, we added the new map, Wind and Cloud. What were your thoughts on it?
Larva: I think the map is not very zerg friendly. It's easy to get dropped and its easy for protoss to use goons to destroy hatcheries that are a part of the simcity. I think the situation would get difficult for me if I met a Protoss in the Semi-Finals.
Interviewer: It's actually raining quite alot today, but we still had a lot of fans and viewers who came here to watch today's match. Anything you want to tell the audience?
Larva: For the viewers who came all the way here to watch, Thank you! Also can I say something?
Interviewer: Of course.
Larva: Sky is here right now in the audience. We were pretty friendly before but recently we had gotten into a bit of an arguement. I want to go apologize to Sky once I finish this interview.
Interviewer: I hope that you two go back to being good friends. I'm pretty sure Sky will accept your apology! Since you've advanced into the Semi-Finals, could you maybe show us a ceremony?
Larva: I'm gonna need some music.
Sonic: HAHA! What if he had lost.
Zergman: He came prepared!
Cola vs Pusan Winner Interview
Interviewer: Hello Pusan!
*You hear the people in the audience chant "1...2...3... PARK JI HO HWAITING!"*
Interviewer: Hello again Pusan! You won today and advanced to the Semi-Finals! How do you feel?
Pusan: First off, I'm glad I was able to win so dominantly. I think all the fans and friends that came out to cheer for me helped me to win. I feel great!
Interviewer: Were there any special builds or styles of play that you focused your practice on for your game versus Cola?
Pusan: Rather than practice, I would think through the plays and mindgames of choosing builds before I'd go to sleep. I thought through the scenarios to the point my head would even hurt. I think I was able to win because of it.
Interviewer: I see that you've come here wearing the jacket that you wore as a pro-gamer for MBCGame Hero! It looks very good on you. Could you maybe tell us your reasons for preparing this particular outfit?
Pusan: It wasn't something I had originally planned. An afreeca viewer of mine asked if I could play wearing the MBC Hero jacket and I said I would. He happened to have one so I had promised to play with the MBC Hero jacket on. Wearing this reminded me of my days as a progamer. I'm not a progamer anymore but wearing the jacket made me feel like I was. (Pusan so damn cool O_O)
Interviewer: So far you've played twice in the offline and are going to play again in the Semi-Finals of Sonic Starleague. Even though you have a lot of experience as a progamer, did you think the online and offline made a difference?
Pusan: I think what's more important is your state of mind when playing. Even as a pro I wasn't able to win and made it only as far as the Semi-Finals. I might not be able to break my Semi-Finals curse but I will continue to try my hardest to make it to the finals!
Interviewer: I have faith you'll rise to much higher levels of play and be able to break your curse! Starting ro8, we've incorporated thew new map, Wind and Cloud. What were your thoughts on the map?
Pusan: When I was practicing the new map yesterday, I was playing without fully understanding the map. I realized though that the main base had 10 mineral patches and learned to abuse the extra minerals. 10 mineral patches is undoubtly very good for protoss, just like in Hunters. I think its a very strong map for Protoss.
Interviewer: You're in the Semi-Finals now. Is there anyone you'd like play?
Pusan: I would much rather prefer to play against a Terran. I think though, with Zerg, as long as I don't face Killer I have a good chance of making it into the Finals.
Interviewer: Next week we're going to have the rest of the matches for the ro8. What are you predictions.
*Bald dude in a suit runs into the room where Pusan is being interviewed and does this*
Sonic: Wow Pusan definitely has a strong fan following!
Interviewer: Are you ok?? It happened so suddenly..!
Zergman: If someone saw this scene they would think Pusan just won the finals.
Sonic: HAHAHAHAHA I completely agree!!
Interviewer: You've got quite a huge fan base that's cheering for you! Are there any words you'd like to deliver to them?
Pusan: I think I was able to win today because so many people came to cheer me on! I'm really glad I won 3-0 and I plan to show my fans more awesome games in the Semi-Finals.
Interviewer: We look forward to seeing you in the Semi-Finals! Thank you for this interview! Oh! Could you show us a ceremony?
Pusan: A ceremony already happened!!.. (Referring to him being ANOINTED with beer )
