Lol, having fun making money off Sc2? Future of esports my ass, because there will be none. On September 23 2012 10:14 lisherwin wrote: Lol. Moletrap provoked the hell from loyal Sayle fans. Sayle Hwaiting! I'll watch Sayle over Moletrap any day. After seeing what he posted, I have no reason to support him at ALL.

I am sad actually because bw was the only official "e-sport" that I recognize till today no other games have captured my imagination and passion the way bw pro's do . No way does sc2 every come close to the amount of effort and dedication the bw guys have put up for many years just to bring us that glory and excitement in every game that is played on proleague, winnerleagues and starleague .

To the op: If she wanted to commemorate BW, you should in my opinon, put more effort in the OP. You could have put much more stuff in there as i think Pro-scene bw would deserve. A 100 meter high statue made of solid gold for example. Your video as well from what i can tell was done with max 2 hours of editing. Btw personally i did not enjoy it. To you guys getting sad i sugjest you go back and watch this:

I'm sad because I can't watch Bisu destroy Zergs with ease. I'm sad because I can't watch Flash reach his full potential in BW (I believe that BW players peak at around 22-23, esp the generation of TBLS). I'm sad because I can't watch Sea finally reach a Starleague/MSL finals. I'm sad because I can't watch Sun turn into the player he'll turn into in SC2 (aka, dominant). I'm sad because Woongjin has so much talent and yet they still haven't delivered. I'm sad because I wasn't able to see Jaedong rise up from his slump and get back his former Zerg throne, which he surely would have given time. I'm sad Stork was eclipsed by Jangbi and that he wasn't given a chance to reclaim his no.2 Protoss spot (lol bias). I'm sad because of all this. Please don't force me to ignore reality. I love the BJ Starleague, and I'll watch it alongside other BW fans, but at the back of my mind I KNOW what we lost the past few days. It was a nice video anyway. Thanks for that.

Oh, and by the way, sorry for crapping on you." Seriously? The Brood War elitism is sickening in this thread and forum. Surprised there's so much anger and hatred here. Elitism for the most well established, credible, professional, longest-running (aside from pain killer / CS and quake speed runs) esports ever, I'm okay with that. I think the word you are looking for is not elitism, look it up in a dictionary first. BW fans are very knowledgeable and have credibility to commentate on the history and state of south korean esports. The instances where elitism would be bad would be if there was a pretense of credibility, or if the elitist is denying others the ability to pursue in thought or actions that are not encompassed by what said elitism originates from. Both of which are entirely circumstantial, and the exact opposite is happening, BW is the one that's diminishing, SC2 fans aren't being forced down, SC2 fans aren't being denied the ability to view professional games.

You are the most famous person I've ever reported for trolling on TL. :| There's no way you could reasonably expect everyone not to flip out over that comment in this thread. On September 23 2012 02:26 Chef wrote: New chapter in my opinion. BW forums haven't been this active in a looong time. People are excited about SOSPA, the foreign leagues, playing again... BW forums got almost no posts besides trolls and defending against trolls, but I feel like that dark cloud has passed and people are starting to enjoy the site again. I was kind of looking forward to the end of KeSPA for this reason. No one seriously thinks LRM( or whoever is going to switch to SC2, so trolling gets no traction. And the BW people are happier both because there aren't trolls anymore (mostly) and because now we can BUILD something instead of helplessly watch something fall. Protoss got units that require more than 5 APM. Terran got...well, it's marginally better.

I suspect they'll still be offended that we continue to have fun with our game and some will stop in from time to time to harass us... but such is life. As for Moletrap: cmon guys, he said MVP was good at BW. Do you need another reason to ignore any of his BW-related postings beyond that?

Actually the idea of the video was to make a music-video containing contrast between sad and happy moments of progamers using emotional energy of this song. Thank you anyway!
