RIP Violet. Leukemia is finicky... sometimes it can go into a recession like last month for Violet. Just late July he was posting on here saying hi to his foreign supporters.... not even 1 month ago. But if it decides to suddenly come back, its just like any other form of serious cancer. Not that all forms of cancer aren't serious, but brain cancer, testicular cancer, lung cancer, stomach cancer, leukemia (blood cancer), etc are known to be especially volatile. When these particular forms decide to have a resurgence... its almost always a sad moment that follows. I know profanity is probably looked down upon but "Fuck cancer man... seriously" seems to fit too well in this moment. I think I'll go to bed tonight to a constant marathon of Violet's pro-game VODs. amen. i will be drowning in his vods. my fav moment of his game vs canata.

Not much to say except RIP. Violet.
You fought long and hard...
Violet VOD marathon tonight to celebrate his life.

Wow... this is really sad.
Loved Violet. Always smiling and had a great personality.

Insensitive. I cried when LeRoi Moore died. I didn't know him but his music made up part of The Dave Matthews Band that lead me through my life to that point, even getting me through a rough year-long struggle with my ex-fiance.
Knowing someone personally doesn't define their impact on your life. You have no idea (nor do I so all this may be talking out of my butt) how many games of Violet's this person watched, how many hours of entertainment was provided when perhaps times were rough and escape was needed.

Terribly sad. No one should have to go so young, particularly in such a long, drawn out fashion. As cliche as it is, if there was ever a time to say "at least he's at peace" I would think it would be after over a year of fighting something so awful.

rip man ! so sad so young

So sad

I had a friend go through leukemia, and, all I can say, is it's a bitch. I can't even begin to think of how much pain he must've been in. I miss him already.

Seriously like what the fuck I can't believe how sad I am just seeing this thread. I was never a fan of him (i just didn't watch him not that I hated him or anything) but I kept up with his disease when I heard about it and he seemed so optimistic and happy and not even that long ago he was saying which game he should go and hoped to keep his fans and then this.
Don't know why but it's really sad to me to see him pass on he seemed like an awesome dude and

hate to see him go he was a great man.

Weird. This is unfair but it feels like idk the guy was posting on here talking to us what a month ago? He was supposed to recover and become another great KT Toss (or even play LoL).
Best wishes for his family. Damn.

RIP Violet
Had no idea it was that bad...

RIP Violet. Hope you are in some kind of protoss Valhalla, stomping other ethereal nerds in the name of Aiur.

Always figured he'd pull through and come back to play beautiful games.
RIP

So very sad to hear this... Rest in peace Violet!

Even if I didnt knew him irl, it still brings me to tears to hear he has passed. Rest in peace, may you look after e-sports from up there.

RIP, I didn't watch BW, but it's still so sad to lose someone so young and full of life. May your friends and family be blessed until you meet again :')
