 Changes in version 1.10: - HTs start with 115 energy instead of 125 - 3 wraiths instead of 4 - 3 sairs instead of 4 - 5 scouts instead of 6 - 5 devs instead of 6 - filers no longer come with lings - reavers no longer come with shuttles Changes in version 1.11: - one of the wraiths belonged to P8 instead of P12 - fixed the map name and description to say version 1.11 Team Micro Melee AG 1.11 There is much more variety in the games, now. Tier 1 is no longer dominated by goons and lings. Tier 2 is no longer dominated by wraiths and sairs. The builder's air units no longer get owned by wraiths and/or sairs. Much more fun.  I'll be able to play over weekends.HTs start with 115 energy instead of 125. Neutral on this, it will make a 2nd storm take longer but that's pretty trivial. 3 wraiths instead of 4. Yes! The wraiths were hellaaaaaa imbalanced before imo. 3 sairs instead of 4. This is a good change too. Also, because before they had too many dwebs it was good to go tier 4 back to tier 2 with 2 selectors of sairs and 2 selectors of mutas, where you would be almost invincible against both air and ground with your dwebs/anti air splash, so you could easily take out macro's economy by dwebbing everything. 5 scouts instead of 6. I don't know about this, I never used scouts anyways but of course, you're right about the annoyingness of the air units, they were way to overpowered and dominated midgame. 5 devs instead of 6. Same. Defilers no longer come with lings. Hmm, I think at least some lings should be available somewhere though, because now you'll get like 4 ultras and 4 defilers, a pretty useless combo, unless you have 3 selectors there's no way you can get lings o.o or 4 defilers and mass lings, not too good either without ultras. Although it does make ultraling+defiler not possible with 2 selectors, I didn't think it was overpowered before (but of course, there were 99999 air units anyways before, and now there won't be) Reavers no longer come with shuttles. ??? I don't know, how will they move? Maybe give them overlords or something lol, reavers are just too slow o.o Thamls for these changes Bill... btw you never answered me, I really want to add doodads to the map, it will look a lot cooler o.o Oh well, good work can't wait to play it this weekend! | ||

Who said defilers had to be used with lings anyway... there are other possibilities... Defiler reaver would be neat if it was sucessfully pulled off o_O | ||

Superiorwolf: - Defilers: you're thinking as an individual instead of as a team!  As a team, you can do ultra/ling/filer if one of you is at tier 3: one goes ultra/filer, the other massling (preferably after getting the Fleet Beacon bonus so that they can upgrade to 2/2 cracklings). The filers come with a full 250 energy each, so I think they can still be very effective even without lings to consume for additional mana. Alternatively, you could go filers / shuttle / lings (for food) and fly around plaguing everything.- Reavers: now you need to get the shuttles separately from tier 2, and now you actually have a reason to try to save the shuttles. Two lings at tier 3 is enough for 4 reavers and 2 shuttles. In general, I'm trying to eliminate all of the two-units-at-once combinations. | ||

And yeah, defiler/reaver would sound like an awesome combo, it would be pretty hard to take out but very troublesome to accomplish the stuff needed (1 ling defiler, 1 ling reaver, 2 lings shuttle/obs beforehand. or 3 lings shuttle/obs beforehand?) Yeah, Shade was suggesting that somewhere in the middle it should have a little stuff and not be so open, I feel the same way, just to add a bit of tactical planning... although it's okay as it is now, there could be pretty cool concepts employed (and we need ovie spots, too imo. Although it's fun anticipating where the enemy is going to go anyways). At least put some decoration or something, doodads, ruins, man I really want this map to be pretty XD. Thx for updates | ||
