OGN and Kespa have commit suicide. The audience they gain from ESPORTS fanboys is going to be nothing compared to the BW fans who desert. The current SC2 fanbase will also probably be halved with the release of Diablo 3. Opening day should get good ratings because of people (like me =P) giving SC2 another chance to impress, but yeah if it still dissapoints then ratings are going to evaporate after the 3rd set for following matches. It's going to disappoint. Even SC2 fans aren't going to be interested in mediocre SC2 once the novelty wears off. I just feel like walking into this conference and screaming.
+ Show Spoiler +FUCK WHAT THE FUCK GUYS FUCK THIS... FUCK

Opening day is my birthday huh At least i'll have an excuse to drink after the 3rd set

Nah, if we BW fans can over hype the players' SC2 skills so the SC2 fans have no idea if there is some massive meta-gaming or if the BW players are not ready for SC2.

SC2 as the ace match? lol.
At least the first three sets are BW games, so I can just close the stream afterwards.

Poll: so what are you gonna do?(BW fans only)watch the entire thing to root for my team. (56) 74% watch the first 3 sets and leave (20) 26% 76 total votes Your vote: so what are you gonna do?(BW fans only) (Vote): watch the first 3 sets and leave (Vote): watch the entire thing to root for my team.
I prefer if only BW fans answered this poll.

I think it is worse actually.
But let's not ride that train, wait and see, lower your expectations the most you can to avoid great dissapointment.

It is literally Hitler.
Or it's a decent-to-good game that's slowly improving over time but still falls pretty short of BW and BW fans are angry at it and cut it no slack as a result.
One of those things.
There, I've saved you read a 50-page flamewar

Why is Entombed Valley in the map pool and not Daybreak?
Also I'm not really sure why they went ahead with the change in games mid-series. I mean they have 3 rounds, what's the harm in having 1 fully dedicated BW round, 1 fully dedicated SC2 round and a 3 round as either SC2 or BW. Makes it better for practice.

Honestly, I'll watch all of it. At least for the first few matches.
I'm curious to see how everyone handles sc2.

Did they mention anything about broadcasting yet? (will there be an english stream or just korean?) I actually like the idea of havin both games in one tournament. Excited how the BW pros will handle it...
|
imagine if NHL playoffs worked with the first three games being hockey games, the next three AND game 7 being air hockey

Daybreak is A.) A GSL map, and B.) Totally bastardized on the ladder, and KeSPA wants to use maps that are on the ladder because players are familiar with them.

what do you think the odds are of them announcing something here that everyone will like?

It was mentioned on the last media day that OGN will be working on an english cast, as they have an english cast for LoL. Though, ima stick to my Korean casting

I will just check results the next day and read the last 2 pages of LR thread and it will be enough for me to still not care about sc2
