Just tried sending money but Till konto: "1637966-1" displays "Mottagarkontot finns inte." via Nordea. But maybe I am doing it wrong, because I couldn't find anywhere to write my full name either. Gaaah I'm just surprised that it doesn't work for me o,o any help would be much apprechiated.

Well, that's weird since our bank account in fact is at Nordea as well I double checked that my payment went through when I heard this and yes it did. Are you doing this right? I use SEB so I don't know exactly what your internet bank looks like but it should just be something like this:

1. select "Betalning" (not "Överföring")
2. select the check box titled "Plusgirokonto"
3. enter the account number in the box next to it: make sure it is entered in the correct way (some banks use the "-" others don't)
4. fill in 50 kr in the "Belopp" box
5. pick a date when you want the money delivered.
6. check the box that says: "Meddelande om OCR-nr ej finns (max 50 tecken/rad)"
7. write your full name in the box below it
8. make the payment

If it's not even popping up as an account I'm guessing at least one of these steps, is wrong. If it doesn't work I can explain more on Sunday how I paid if you want to

Just wondering a few things, Jaevlaterran. If it causes too much trouble, then you can just ignore everything that I just said. What I want to know that since DreamHack is situated in Sweden, what are the chances of BW to be played again in the event as the Swedish communities seems to have harvested a substantial amount of cash (question mark)* I think that would definitely help in revitalizing the BW scene.

fuck yes !

BW at Dreamhack is an awesome idea

even with a smaller prizepool (like 500$ for example)

it would be so amazing

Ahh I might have done step 1 wrong as I selected "Överföring till andra konton." Will try again when I can ^^

To be honest, I have no idea on what the chances are of playing BW on DH again. However if I were to speculate I would add a few things:

+ Show Spoiler +
Even though Sweden is 9 milion people, the E-sport community is pretty small. Some contacts of the SBWI might make this easier to accomplish. I might even know some people.

We will in fact have around $1000 within the next few days with around $1000 more coming in after january sometime. I don't think we will use the first "batch" for any DH tourney, but who knows about the second one.

There is a special funding that we can apply for if we organize something like this. It might give us some extra money from the state.

International donors might be interested to donate to this specific event.

We can apply for travel funding if Swedish members wish to travel there to watch it. This might make it cheaper for people to attend. (This might make Oya more likely to show up^^)

I'll see if I can get in contact with the DH organizers to see what the possibilities are and I'll get back to this thread.

A completely different thing that is not too serious of a project: on Sunday a friend of mine is gonna bring over some computer parts. We are gonna build a server with that. I was planning on using it for the SBWI-stream^^

Yo~~

I've been without internet for about a month -- hence my inactivity, but anyway you should have my members fee in by Monday (why the completely automatized online-banking systems have to take the weekends off is beyond me). I also tried registering on the link in the OP, but it seems like you already entered my details, which is much appreciated The email from Sverok with various recent news probably should have tipped me off, but better safe than sorry I guess...

Overall this thread is just a mountain of awesome news, many thanks for all the hard work you've put into this Jaevlaterran!

On a semi-related note: I'm looking forward to watching SAS vs LRM on Sunday ^^ I hope to see anyone and everyone living in the Stockholm area there

I wish I could import the dancing guy from Skype.
SC is like sex. You should play often, but never too hard. And you should only try hard when it matters.

I'm actually very curious about your progress with DreamHack- it's something which has been looked into a little, but dismissed quite quickly so far
