That's because "Jangbi" is the Korean version of the name. He named himself after that particular character

edit: or rather, "Jangbi" is the Romanization of the Koreanization... blah blah... anyway you get what I'm saying.

There's plenty of jokes about names because of similarities in the korean and chinese pronunciations. Like Stork is often referred to as "Shi Tou" or "Stone" in chinese because he's so consistent and immovable, Jangbi is referred to as Zhang Fei who was a famous general from romance of the three kingdoms who was known for being ruthlessly aggressive,, Horang2 is referred to as "Hu Lang" which means Tiger / Wolf in chinese. Unfortunately most of the jokes and play on words can't really be translated because they cease to be clever when you explain it.

How popular is following the Korean BW scene, or alternatively -BW, in China?

Caihead, the VODS uploaded by Numba316 are from WCG Grand finals, not the Korean qualifier.

Thanks again for putting all in one post. Cheers!

The bw fan-base in china is still very adamant about following it, unfortunately that fan-base isn't really growing in size. The fact that they canceled the proleague finals last year in shanghai really didn't help, I was in shanghai at the time too.

Stork is known for having relatively lower average apm (200-250) compared to other progamers (usually >~300 average), if there was a way to measure effective apm in bw though i wouldn't be surprised if that's mostly effective apm or if he has a higher effective apm percentage than other players. He's extremely knowledgeable and consistent due to being on the scene for so long, and basically he has enough apm to pull off all the strategic maneuvers that he needs to beat the opponent.

He often has heaps of idle probes beyond 2 bases and his macro isn't that good. He just has insane micro and strategy.

His insane micro was and still is definitely present in his reaver / carrier play, and his strategic maneuvers win him games all the time. His mine sweeping though... not sure what happened, looking at his mine sweeping in 2007 was so much better.

Stork & Bisu, IMO, are already figured. Especially Bisu. Remember that predictable build he had against Stats on a PL Finals? Yeah.
