Simple and I am not taking this seriously but some of the posters in LR thread still couldn't believe he lost and trying to justify it by robbing dear of his earned victory.

And since you seem to be thinking that I am butthurt about this loss, lol no. On the contrary, I think this defeat will remove the weight of the perfect score that he was determined to get. Flash will be much more relaxed and ready for playoffs. Stop thinking that this is the end of the world to Flash fans ![]()

Actually if you look at his tlpd page, he has lost 167 of them. Can't be a god if you lose 167 games.

I think there have been many games by many different players that didn't have a turret to defend a fast shuttle-reaver before and I think some of them were won by Terran. If you guys think it was just because of that turret then you're either truly blind or just need to analyze the game more. He opted for a fast 3rd and SCV control/transfer was not sublime. Made a poor decision to have his forces in an open area while he could have defended it well in his base while constructing turret for those shuttles. This reasoning would be much more acceptable for me as 'beating himself' than just about cancelling those turrets. Dear won it because of his fast execution in reacting to that tank army in an open area without turrets to defend enemy shuttles and zealot bombs.

I don't think he lost only because the lack of turrets. Dear won the game with good play. It's not a good idea to start fact checking this thread. There's a lot of pretty ridiculous claims here, but that doesn't mean that anyone really thinks Flash has over 9000 apm or that he can beat jaedong with one hand playing his offrace. This just isn't the "Analyze flash's play realistically" thread. It's supposed to be fun.

If you notice my post quoting an image macro, it had 'lolololol' in it, implying that it's actually funny. Then, someone took it seriously and told me that I would still 'hate' when in fact I really weren't hating but that triggered my hating and now I find myself feeling ashamed that I am not banned for being serious in a funny thread. -_-

I come in here for a good laugh, not to read through half a page of discussion.

Dear won it because of his fast execution in reacting to that tank army in an open area without turrets to defend enemy shuttles and zealot bombs. These are just poor excuses which blind-minded haters usually come up with. When a player loses a game, almost everything he did is used against him. Poor decisions, poor control etc.. Yeah of course, had he played a better game/better than his opponent he would have won that game. By that logic, 'I think there have been many games by many different" Terrans where T won with a fast 3th. The turrets played a deciding role in this game. With 1 turret in main and 1 in nat, dear's shuttle would not be able to fly around like in a no man's land and get a lot of workers kills like that. The reaver was dropped first in nat, killed 2 SCVs. Then it was picked up and dropped at main, kill 3 SCVs there. Then it headed straight back to nat and made the big blow, killed 6 SCVs there. With turrets, it would only have been able to make one trip from nat to main, not going back and forth like that. And with 1 reaver + 1 shuttle gone (and not so many SCV deaths), who knows what dear's decision would be, and also what the outcome of the battle would be (dear had 2 shuttles each carrying 1 reaver at that time). Of course, the decision to cancel turrets was apparently Flash's fault. But that's what some people take it and make the joke "beat himself" that you're being so serious about.
