With that in mind, I ended up choosing: Team.Syl Main Team 4 ![]() The guy looks really promising. I'm pretty darn confident that SKT will send him out for at least half their games to get him more experience in developing him further. It also helps that I'm imagining SKT is going to win a fair bit, so there is some consistency in points there as well. 4 ![]() A pretty biased opinion - I've had FBH on every single one of my Fantasy Proleague teams to date! He's let me down a few times, but he's been having a resurgence lately. ACE got a lot of added members, but I honestly see him still making almost all of the lineups for ACE matches. 6 ![]() I keep going back and forth between whether I want Neo.G_Soulkey or Jangbi. Right now, I'm leaning towards the former. Although Jangbi is getting back to the top of his game right now, and that he's most likely a better all-round player than Soulkey, I'm thinking there is a possibility of him tapering off again (hoping I'm wrong!). What really tipped the scales in this decision was a few key things: Trolluary often ends up not sending A-Teamers at critical moments, Khan has an arguably deeper lineup and so may choose other players instead, and Jangbi will definitely be a popular pick this season, whereas I'm banking on Soulkey having a good year and being a rarely picked guy. 6 ![]() One of the pillars of his team, he'll be sent out most, if not all of Woongin's games. Proleague beast last I checked, so he should win a chunk too. To me, a no-brainer. 3 ![]() Really wish I could pick Roro instead, but alas - I can't find anywhere to drop some points. He'll still be sent out on occasion, hopefully to snipe a few zergs and Bisu (zing!) Stuck him as captain because I prefer lower pointed captains over higher ones - no sense in locking in a lot of trade potential. 4 ![]() I saw the signups for this year's FPL and I simply told myself "I want YoonJoong in my team!" I don't know why I thought so, but I think gut feelings should be gone with from time to time. I also like saying his alternate ID out loud! 3 Samsung KHAN This. That is all. Anti Team 5 ![]() Effort is going to be a huge gamble this season - I can picture him possibly screwing either main teams or anti teams. This'll be make or break decision, but I think it'd be easier to safely trade off someone from the anti-team than from the main team. I'll definitely be watching his first few games of the season - if he's in form, he's out of my anti. If he's making sloppy mistakes, et all, I'll feel great about my pick. 3 ![]() With the huge surge in players going in ACE, I'll be surprised if M18M reaches 10 games played, let alone won this season. Seems like a reliable pick. 5 ![]() To be frank, I don't see Tyson as one of Team 8's top players. Their Terran and Zerg lineups seem a lot more scarier than their protoss one, and Jaehoon is going to be sent out much more often than Tyson when they need a toss. I've been trolling TL for years now and have less posts than some people have in hours. Nevertheless, I am just as glad as anybody else to see the new PL season coming up. BW Fighting!

I've always thought it was dumb because a) It makes the order of your wins matter (why should WWWLLL be more valuable than WLWLWL) b) It punishes your for the arbitrary circumstances of scheduling (a player with a schedule that alternates between playing good and bad teams is less valuable than that same player with a schedule that clusters bad teams together) and now it makes even less sense now that ACE matches are gone

Swap hero[join] for another 4 or 5 pointer. Kal(4), ggaemo(4), Calm(5), Action(5), Reality(5) etc. Two of those are probably better than Movie and hero[join]. Bogus will be playing every single STX game and went 15-8 towards the end of PL. I wouldn't pick him. Edit. Over a thousand teams signed up already ![]()

Also, Hoejja is so incredibly handsome that he can make his coach ditch his beautiful wife to go full gay with Hoejja. 4 ![]() 4 ![]() SKT's first choices are Bisu and Fantasy, followed by By.Sun, n.Die.soO and Best as second choices, then the rest of their mediocre Terran and Zerg lineups. By.Sun and n.Die.soO have performed well last season compared to Best, and are sure to get playing time this season. 7 ![]() Movie is part of CJ's 5 big bosses (EffOrt included now), so nuff said. Movie also has good karma because he lost to Hoejja at the playoffs to allow KT Rolster to go to the finals, so the Gods of Starcraft will reward him. 3 ![]() January seems to likes Turn and gives him playing time, so I'll pick him. 3 ![]() Wooki is a strong upcoming player, and I hope he lives up to his hype. Also, I have tried to pick all players in my main team from the top 4 teams (T8 SKT KT CJ) so they will get points from team wins. 5 KT Rolster The best team of all, because it has Hoejja. Anti Team 7 ![]() Bogus ruined my anti team last season, but that was due to the old format where he got almost all the ace matches as he was STX's best player. In this new format without ace matches, Bogus is just another above average player. 4 ![]() Kal's time has passed. He is in a slump, and going to ACE will probably only push him deeper into it. 2 ![]() Behind FBH and Iris in the pecking order for ACE Terrans, he probably won't see much play time. Also, I have tried to pick my whole anti team from mediocre teams so they won't get points for team wins. Okay, have decided to change my anti team as I realised bogus was too dangerous. Anti Team 4 ![]() 3 ![]() hero hasn't been great lately. 6 ![]() Snow won't get much playtime hopefully, if EffOrt manages to recapture his old form. After all, CJ is already stacked with Movie, horang2, Hydra and Leta. Also, would like to extend unreserved thanks to heyoka and the people behind the scenes who crammed work to ensure FPL comes out before the season starts. All the players of FPL really appreciate your hardwork.

For your antis though, you've picked 3 players who are all on the shallowest teams and therefore more likely to play. Peftective went 5-4 or something at the end of PL which is pretty bad for a 3 pointer. There's some much bigger fails out there, like Ssak for one, who despite being SKT1 went 0-6. And that team is deeper. Free is one of those iffy picks, because you never know when he'll turn around. Also might get played a lot unless he just slumps (further) and disappears. Jaehoon could be a big worry as well. I'd only really go for the 5 pointers and below on my anti. Main team picks are all fine.

![]() Bogus has just played like such a boss last season, only losing to top tier players. He's going to win as many games as other players of equal point values and higher. Very solid and economic top pick. The only two players equal or above him that will score even I think is FlaSh and Bisu which both are worth 3 points more - Which is quite a bit considering the 30 point cap. 6 ![]() Soulkey was absolutely huge last season as well tied for 2nd highest point getter behind Bisu from last season, he's definetly a great asset coming at such a low cost. 6 ![]() Horang2 showed a previous season similar to the strength that of Bogus, very solid player and once again, not overly costly as Jaedong and FlaSh yet an equal point producer. 4 ![]() soO had a great run in the previous OSL, making the semi-finals and achieved such a great score in the previous proleague season, for merely 4 points, you get a top point getter. One of the biggest steals imo, though I doubt his consistency, he should be able to produce plenty of points given his cost. 4 ![]() HoeJJa is going to be such a beast this season in KT, he's got no real pressure on him given the top guns that surround him and I expect him to have a top tier season throwing him much further up in the scoring than was achieved last season. He also won't have the disadvantage of the ACE match - Since if there were an ACE match, there is a 0% chance of HoeJJa playing it. 0 ![]() Don't expect him to play, don't want him to play, if he doesn't harm my team its good with me. I don't really have much to say aside from he's a freeslot, no points left. 3 Woongjin Stars The best pick? No, not by any means, SKT is going to be the top team. Though I think the extra points were better off being invested in the player roster rather than the team. This makes the difference between having Bogus and EffOrt, which Bogus is going to score much higher. So, realistically better to be invested on players than on the team. Anti-team 8 ![]() Stork is worth 8 points, which is ideal for this situation, he was slumping last season and he's going to come out even worse this season. I believe he's going to lose more often than not and so, really shouldn't count for much against my team. 3 ![]() 2 ![]() The original 8 points aside, I was able to pick some fairly low cost players and so I picked two players whom I highly doubt will have a successful season.
