Wow, it seems that the downfall of PGTour has affected the community so much, that even FighterForum decided to make a news on their website.
Fighter Forum is known for their wide-spread popularity of bringing the latest news to the bwfans, especially progaming. That's why I think it's such a huge thing that they have aknowledged the fact that PGTour has been missing in action, and actually made a news about it.

The server that was used by so many gamers including Progamers PGTour (www.pgtour.net) is in danger of extinction.
Since last May 26th the PGTour homepage and the Starcraft server (bnet-x) has been down. Created about 1 year ago it has been run by many Admins who put effort and time in it but now it has reached a cost too much for them to keep a hold on.
The PGTour's 1 month fee is $300(US). Before closing PGTour tried to gain support by planning to ask 10dollars per person for support but only 10% of the population has shown support.
Currently the admins are each trying to search for ways to revive the server but no solid solution has risen. The Korean Admin Jung-hak said "Each admin are trying their best to find ways from their countries" and "We are determined to revive PGTour".
PGTour's Korean participation reaches up to 70% and was a server very popular in Korea. In Korean time the afternoons reached about 500~600 players applied at the same time. Progamers Choi Yun-sung (iloveoov), Lee Yun-yeol (NaDa) etc was known to play on the servers as well and skyrocketed in poplarity.

As a WGTour admin I must express my jealousy of how succesful the Admins of PGTour were on pleasing their players and popularity.
Whether PGTour will actually rise again, I don't know (sorry if you came into the thread thinking it will) but let's all hope for the best.
One thing I noticed was that they didn't mention Pat at all, the one person who brought it to us, and wished they would have mentioned and thanked him somehow...
