Sorry but there's more respect between Boxer and Oov than you and some friend or something similar of that nature. With that said, I think Oov is innocent and his father is to blame. What people say to the media and what is really true can sometimes be complete opposites. Since you're not living in the SKT1 headquarters and you don't know oov or boxer personally, it's impossible to really know what's going on.

In every interview, in every VOD, in every encounter of Boxer and Oov there has been nothing but respect for each other. Oov even cried during EVER finals because he didn't want to see Boxer lose but he had such a desire to win at the same time. And if you don't think Boxer respects him then why do you think he took Oov under his wing and basically GAVE him the opportunity to be what he is today. Again, you and everyone thinking that this is a respect issue is a fucking moron. In Korea respect is on a much larger scale than in the Western world. If Oov really wanted to leave KTF because he felt like he was being ' held down ' by Boxer [ which makes absolutely no sense seeing as how he is arguably the best player in the world ] then he would do it outright and not even make the contract with SKT1 in the first place. Let me reiterate, as you don't seem to understand. Oov would lose all fans and respect from the progaming institution itself. Oov would lose seemingly his only close friends in progaming [ Boxer and SKT1 ] and who would want him on their team if he's a teamhopping noob who has no loyalty.

Notice how I said *maybe*? It was just a theory, there's no need for anyone to be calling anyone a "fucking moron." I'm sorry if I don't watch enough SC-related VODs (except the games themselves) and don't know the personal relationships between characters that much. I made a theory that *would* seem plausible to anyone who wasn't that much aware of the relationship between boxer and oov (and for someone who just watches replays and VODs, it shouldn't be expected knowledge). Yeah, to the first guy--thanks for correcting me. To the other guy--fuck you, asshole.

Also, you can't call yourself interested in progaming if you don't know the relationship between Boxer and Oov. Everyone pretty much knows that they are student-teacher and that he introduced him to the scene.

I don't really care about players' relationships that much. Didn't realize there were pre-requisites for being interested in progaming. I had a *vague* idea about the Boxer-Oov relationship but didn't know it was that serious. Mostly it was from some comments the commentators said during the games... and from them it's hard to discern that Boxer and Oov were that close. I figured Boxer was just doing what he does as the Terran captain--i.e., teaching the rookies... didn't know it was anything special.

Because pretty much the majority of them infer that they are good friends. Also if you don't care bout players relationships [ I.E. know close to nothing about it ] why do you speculate something and then get mad when someone who knows more about Boxer-Oov than you says it's extremely likely that it's wrong. But I don't know for sure since you're apparently from Afghanistan now. If you aren't then ignore this, but if you can understand Korean that you must have extreme selective hearing. By the way, Boxer/Kingdom/GoRush/Oov are all captains of the team.

And like I said I had the impression he could speak/read Korean so I'm curious as to how he would have close to no inclination of their relationship.

I didn't get mad when someone corrected me. I got mad when someone called me a "fucking moron" for not knowing the relationship between two StarCraft players Without knowing that my relationship was close-knit, it WAS a plausible guess... but then again, where the world did I claim this to begin with (it was shizuru)? Don't put words in my mouth. What you're trying to show is that I should've known enough about their relationship to not make that guess, it seems...to a guy who just cares about the results of games. So what if I can read/speak Korean? Why would that mean I have "extremely selective hearing?" The commentators don't talk about it that much... and the only time they talked about it at all from the VODs I've seen are from the finals in the 1st EVER OSL. All they mentioned (or at least all I remember) was that Boxer trained Oov when he was new to the team. I don't really read any of the articles or interviews posted here... I simply don't care that much. In any case, "infer that they are good friends" isn't really enough to assume that they wouldn't want to leave a team to become acknowledged as the best terran of another team. Just because you are "good friends" it doesn't mean that you can't be ambitious enough to want to surpass him and become the top terran. You're curious eh? Despite the fact that I've already told you how...

I'm sure there were outside forces involved but I do think to an extent oov wants out of the SKT1 hierachy. Sure Boxer did everything for him- he 'excavated' Oov as people say. But as everyone knows SKT1 was built on Boxer's fame and popularity and Oov's talent. He would feel that little bit of contempt, he's the only SKT1 member who won Starleagues last year and yet Boxer's the one who gets the payrise, extended contract and gets voted into Allstar league?. This 'respect' issue I understand, I'm Korean after all, but it becomes something trivial when one looks at the bigger picture i.e one's future career.
