Pholon presents... ISL2 SUPPLYBLOCK BINGO (for the lulz)
As the ISL progresses, we, the onlookers, have begun to notice a trend. There seems to be an awful lot of being-supply-blocked. After so many games, there can be only one logical conclusion: The ISL is suffering from a Supply Block Curse.
While curses are certainly no laughing matter, we can still do our best to make the best out of a bad situation. I therefore present to you the ISL2 SUPPLYBLOCK BINGO.
HOW TO PLAY?
1) Go here: (replace xxYOURUSERNAMExx with your username)
2) Click "login" top right and log in using TL ID and Password. Backspace back to the url in step 1 and refresh the page. Your name should now be at the very top of the screen.
3) Hit "edit" at the very top of the page and paste in the following:
4) Replace all the letters (A - Y) with numbers that you think people will get supply blocked at in the next ISL matches. Needless to say, 200/200 doesn't count and no number can be entered twice. Note to help you out, here's an overview of possible Supply Caps per Race per Townhall. + Show Spoiler +
I will "Protect" all submission so they cannot be edited after submission. All submissions should be entered before the games start on Saturday. Now every time a player gets supply blocked you get to cross off that number on your chart. When you have 5 cross-outs in a line (either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) you shout "BINGO!". Whoever gets BINGO first is the winner and gets a prize. Dunno what the prize will be yet, possibly a showmatch vs. Game. It's like the poor man's Joekim.
Kralic and Djagulingu you have a 10 and a 9 in your submissions respectively. Gonna rule those out obviously if they happen in the initial moments of the game. I'll let you change them if you want. (If they happen at a later stage - props to you )

Couple of things I noticed: When it just says x / x top right this doesn't mean there's a proper supply block going on. There could be 3 Dragoons building and halfway done, while a Pylon is just morphing in. So there has to be some indication that the player is actually suffering from it (i.e. a show of a gateway with the progress bar still) In the case of a recall or corsair raid in which a lot of supply is lost I'm counting the lowest supply block reached (i.e. when the raid is over) and the player can't score any more supply block before he has un-supply blocked himself.
Now to the scores :D The following numbers have been ticked: 35, 27, 140, 36, 52, 60, 77, 50, 99, 116, 66, 91, 172, 20 Keeping track of a list here: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/User:Pholon/ISL2SupplyBlockBingo Making all the boxes red if they've been ticked. Let me know if I missed any. BlahzOr dunno what to do with yours lol. Using strikethrough now. Bet you feel pretty silly now huh :p
Anyway, Fabiano, Technics and myself all scored 4 ticks so far (yay), but the people to watch out for are blahz0r and Spazer, whose ticks have landed in nice linear positions (needing only 2 more for a bingo) and ProfProtoss, who only needs a 26! (can be gotten from 2 Hatch + 2 Ovies or 2 Nexi + 1 Pylon).
No Bingos yet though, so next week will be pretty exciting lol
oh my God I was so drunk yesterday I forgot to check the topic or anything, I'll replace one of the 26s right now if I still can and check all on vods later sorry
edit : / oh I can't - please change one of 26 to 94 (the one between 9 and 42)
Pssh was hardly anti-climactic, clinched a win at the very last second :p
Congrats Prof.Protoss! Yeah time for Round 2 imo :D

Omg congratulations Prof.Protoss, you have outsmarted the wise players of ISL2 in their own play!
Just checked this. I finally found my place in TL history: first one to win Supplyblock bingo I'm happy. Thanks Pholon for the effort and thanks to all congratulators

I could just say "fuck that". Why would I ever listen to this kind of an advice.
Oh man, this looks like so much fun. I want to do it but I don't think I'd actually be vigilant enough to consistently "play". Sorry guys, but I hope you all have lots of fun!
