Page 23. If I see any more BW vs SC2 debate from that point on you will get banned. |
Woongjin Stars has been doing quite decently as of late, especially with Soulkey and ZerO being the two-punch Zergs. Also, their recent acquiring of Light wouldn't make sense if they were to disband so soon.
Oz is quite shaky aside from Jaedong, though they did manage to do quite well in the STX Masters Cup. Their interviews don't really show much sign of distress, though it could only be standard, generic optimism showing through.
I have a gut feeling that it is most likely STX, especially considering the possibility that their great player trade may not have gone as well as they hoped for, though I don't think any specifics about the trades have been released yet.
Then again, I heard some rumors some time ago that Khan may have been at risk, though considering what is stated in the OP, Samsung seems to be a stable sponsor for now.

Why do these all have to happen at the same time? why!?
|
Seems like STX is most likely, after all they put their whole entire roster up for trade.

Ok.. this is getting ridiculous... Someone needs to actually make a team and then more will follow... I mean, come on~ This year we had a record viewer rating... How can you possibly think of disbanding?

Check the team league results if you are wondering why lower level teams might feel the need to disband. The higher teams have dominated the team leagues for several years in a row now. This might not be the main reason, but it doesn't help, that's for sure.

August is the month of SC drama...

Fox disbanding was one thing, but NO OMG NOT MBC GAME... THE MAYANS PREDICTED THIS WOULD HAPPEN BEFORE THE END.
|
A low to middle performing team that's not sponsored by a large corporation? Which team qualifies under that description? Can't be KT, SKT, CJ, Samsung or Woongjin for sure. I was under the impression though that STX was a large company too though. I have no idea how big Hwaseung is but would a team with Jaedong really be that unsustainable?

black august -.- drama in both games

I'm going to guess STX but still it sucks that ANOTHER team is disbanding.
|
I still crying over the disband of WeMadeFox...why why why !!!!!!!
|
im not so sure it could be STX considering that the company is sponsoring a tournament RIGHT NOW.
|
Hmm... STX being a possible team to close, plus the news of tossgirl playing in an SC2 invitational. Rumors yo
... OH GOD WHERE IS THE POWER RANK.
Edit: it's in the features tab... no longer on the side
|
wheres the power rank?? T_T
is it a rumor or its official? i dont want cry in vain *-*

How did I not notice, the power rank isn't on the right anymore.........nooooooooo

STX have very strong links with MBC game. Isn't their practice area next to MBC game’s practice area and the studio its self? I think that’s right I could be wrong. There's loads of STX signs and banners around there. So I would guess they would be strongly affected by MBC going under should that in fact happen. God this year just can't seem to get any worse for Esports.
