If you read any of the pages of this thread, you can see that it is in everyway an sc2 discussion. There is nothing about BW in it. Every comment in this thread is either a complaint about this thread being in the BW section, or a bunch of nonsense that is only relevant to the sc2 scene. Because sc2 has been slowly but consistently taking over teamliquid, it would be nice if the space that is dedicated to BW on tl, could stay dedicated to BW. | ||

He's just saying that the thread has very little relation to Broodwar other than the fact that Yellow was a Broodwar player. Also, the reason why some of us might not care is because there's good reason to suspect these pros won't do well anyway. Sure I think they'll just stomp on the foreigners, but that's besides the point. At the same time, there also some of us who don't even want BW players switching over to SC2, period. Switching over SC2 for many of these people seems like a last ditch effort at some form of success. It's nostalgia and honestly, not something I'm interested in. | ||

I was just defending someone who was getting accused of something he didn't say. And then I provided justification for why it's not interesting to see certain players to switch over. What is this about trying to "eradicate knowledge of the existence of SC2"? Not only does not make any sense, it shows how little time you actually spent trying to read my post and blatantly called me an elitist as if it's a blanket term for anyone who likes BW. | ||
