Probably off-camera. TheWind gave a detailed plan and we cut to five days later. I think they were expecting he'd be at minimum diamond from spending some time playing and reading Korean Liquipedia. And also they want to emphasize how bad he is now at the start, because it makes for a better story.

Well if you ask me yellow in broodwar his training could be less games but more quality games rather than mass game and become bonjwa I think however that's not yellow style he probably is going back to his roots and training from what he learn in bw hence the "Image training " personally i don't know what is that ...although i am sure yellow off screen trying his best at practicing he has decent queen control lol I am not sure that's even silver rank control in korea . I thinks it's too early to speculate and let's see how he progress from episode 2 . I am sure we will see him going hardcore once he gets that gear into turbo mode .
Just thinking outloud, but I wonder if they're "doctoring" the reality show a bit to show him not trying hard/being bad until after the Boxer showmatch lights his fire for dramatic effect. I guess that's my reality tv skepticism combined with not believing yellow is either a) is that bad or b) half assing hard it after agreeing and having all the investment from GOM/Coaches.

Even if you are a fan dude I don't recall seeing threads about Boxer in the BW section following his sc2 career. You're absolutely right. The first episode was pretty blatant, too, with all the long debate and joking about which race Yellow would choose, even though it was pretty obvious he'd go with Zerg. I get the feeling the show is pretty scripted.
Regardless of which, it's fun to watch. American "reality" television can be entertaining, too, and it takes a pretty substantial suspension of disbelief to watch it, also.

Boxer is boxer i am only fan of him through his terran games but never a loyal fan to him because my loyalty stays to kt and anything has got to do with kt gets a thread from me for him being the pillar of my team and the veteran who made it possible for kt to survive this long . THE KONG the guy who made survive and made a lot of sacrifice to become a progamer at broodwar only surviving on ramen cups and living in the pc bank for months just to become a progamer . These man deserves a place for him broodwar and even though it's sc2 that doesn't mean we bw fan's must let him go and not post about him . So let me see if I understood this right. You want the thread to stay up there at all times. That means it has to be bumped fairly often. And, you rage when it goes down.
Well...people post in other threads too! And so much shit going around with player transfers, interviews, discussions etc.etc all sorts of things, so yes some important threads go under.
Also, the thread is primarily about the show, not YellOw. So, his fanclub would be a better place to discuss directly about him (and that would stay up longer)
Since the other thread is mainly about the show itself, it is natural that it may disappear. after the show airs and it is finished (and some discussion going on etc.)
