Not having a backup plan given that there was a good likelihood of the event being cancelled due to a typhoon warning issued 2 days ago IS rather incompetent. Also, the typhoon essentially grounded all flights for the next day or so, so people who flew here specifically for the event can reschedule their flights to a later time should kespa have stayed with shanghai and held it within a few days. But yes, the victims are the people who bought tickets, went to shanghai, and waited at the venue for hours receiving conflicting information only to go home in disappointment. Makes a terrible impression for all the chinese fans who went there, and an even worse impression for foreign fans who flew there to see it. | ||

It sucks though because I don't think they're will be as much hype around this now that it's in Korea. Indoor Gym for the finals? . Why not Busan? | ||

Plus, I guess even if making a plan B to hold the final indoors is possible, KESPA probably would not agree. They wanted to hold the SPL final in Shanghai because they wished more ppl to know BW, just like the OSL final last year, while an indoor final would be absolutely less attractive. I feel so bad for the fans who take a flight/train/drive to Shanghai and found it cancelled...... | ||
