Today Boxer brought flowers and a box for StarCraft 2, which surprised me at the time. I guess he wants me to switch, haha. We spoke a bit backstage - he said that he hoped I could cheer him on when his team competes, and told me that if I switch to SC2, I could join his team.
This is what I wrote in the LR thread after seeing him with boxer:

Kidding of course. He put on a great show<3 Hahaha I love that I was right.

That's really nice he ended at #1. I hope he ends it that way. As much as I would like him to go to SC2, I don't think it will happen...Nor should it to be honest.. Best of luck to him as I know he will continue to be successful no matter what does he does.

I will honestly shit my pants and praise the lord if Yellow decides to join SlayerS... DEAR GOD PLEASE LET IT HAPPEN =]

Very touching interview. And Yellow is too polite to immediately decline boxer's invitation, but the language used is clear enough. I don't see it happening.

Not sure how to express myself other than by saying that I'm pretty sad about this. Happy for the guy though.

Lol SlayerS_YellOw. Sounds good.!

I still remember so many replays of him.
most memorable for me for some reason was him vs nada on desert lost temple. first time i saw awesome defiler usagae, and was just so amazed...back in 7th grade?
anyway, I hope he pulls an effort and realizes he wants to get back into the scene....the sc2 scene that is.

I hope Yellow gives SC2 a try. The number 2 in the title should bode well for him.

Sry, but with this much awesomeness, bnet will never be able to handle a game from any slayers player and consequently, slayers will never be able to play.
edit: Whatever Yellow does, I wish him well. Truly one of the greats of starcraft bw.

thanks for the translation, it was so emotional reading his interview but yellow will always be the godfather of zerg even if he has retired.

oGs is more "oldie" than SlayerS.

I was so crushed when Yellow lost to Xellos in their OSL final. Hope he makes the switch to SC2.

The last line brought tears to my eyes

Excellent interview. He seems to feel kinda sad though :'(
Would be lots of fun if he goes to BoxeR team/SC2 but if he doesn't he will always stay BoxeR best rival and i'd respect his decision anyways.

Great interview, thanks. It must have been hard to retire but it's nice to hear he'll be sticking around in the community, if not coaching/SC2ing.

Having everyone here with me made it truly unforgettable. Boxer, Nada, TheWind, and other old veterans attended, and I kept thinking of happy memories with them.
oh man this is so sad but beautiful at the same time, how time passes ey
