You say France doesn't have enough people, try Switzerland! Hahaha I'm a D+ C-, but can still brag about being ranked 4th in the entire country q;
But sure, if more Swiss would frequent TL and speak up I'd love to!

Bleh, maybe if we let it run a while, more people will join

I wasn't really around when this was going on, but wouldn't time zone differences be quite a pain to manage?

just as much as with clanwars, find a time inbetween. And it can be changed according to which nations play, of course. Or make groups where nations from one similiar timezone play each other first, like North/South America and Europe. I doubt there would be any too far eastern teams, besides russia. Probably not any further east than Belarus.

Doubt there will be enough countries with enough reliable players to make this plausible. even if it was plausible i doubt many countries would even be able to compete, due to lack of talent

As the former Bolivian National Team Captain I totally agree with this. This can get Bolivia to play again.
I mean most of the Latin players back in my time used to play just to get into the National Team. And the Nations would engage in friendly Nation War just to show the rest who is the best. Maybe a League can be made. But the National team system was one of the TOP motivators to play BW back then.
Tenshi PM me if you want some help with this. I was very active back then and I think I have some useful knowledge.

I've filed a proposal to the higher-ups already, when they approve then we can get the ball rolling.
The only aspect of this whole scheme I'm still wary about is how are we going to choose fair/unbiased team leaders... People sometimes tend to favor their clanmates, and not the entire team may support one person as their leader.

I think that should be the ultimate concern. I jump into the bandwagon with a gogo shoutout!!

I think most Taiwanese players switched to SC2... Rush used to be decent, but now the highest ranked player on iCCup is C+ -__-
That said, this seems like it has a lot of potential! Bandwagon gogo!

I'll represent Korea so that USA can have a chance... I'm only C-

This is a great IDEA!! someone needs to implement this~ POST THIS ON ICCUP!
|
UNITED KINGDOM!
im for it I think.

Good news guys, it seems like we've received approval for this event. I'll begin drafting a series of rules/regulations over the next few days, there will be a formal thread created once I'm done. As I am inexperienced with Nation Wars, I will always be open for suggestions! If you feel like there should be something implemented to make the event more enjoyable, don't be afraid to shoot me a PM on TL or to iCCup.Tenshi on iccup.com.

If this were to happen I would volenteer myself as uK leader as I have a LOT of free time right now, altho if there was someone better suited I wouldn't have a problem with someone else taking over (Sayle?).

also if you're looking for a canadian coach could do it. I'm not a good player, but I am replay admin at iCCup so I have that analyst brain that could help. Plus access to replays not seen anywhere else. gives the canadian team a good hand on the competition.

looking forward to this ^_^

i think you can count Denmark out, back when i was the danish leader a few years ago, we lacked players, and now its even harder to find any danish bw players at all :D
|
I like the idea too, it will very entertaining to play having such incentive :D, i'm D player but would like to play even if i get pwnd xDD

I have yet to think of a fair way to elect team leaders yet. But I'll definitely give it some thought in regards to various aspects
