Malaysia dont really have much active BW players as well, many jerked off to sc2 already. Perhaps we can combine and make a SEA team...

This might be a good idea. Though if the time comes when there is sufficient activity (hopefully with AU/NZ), we may consider separating by individual countries again. In any case, a set of format/rules is now pending approval, I'll keep you guys updated. If everything goes well, we can hopefully get the event rolling by early next season.

Well, if there are a lot of AU/NZ players, you could split it up into North SEA and South SEA. I think North South East Asia has a nice ring to it.

I would assume that even though we're big, we have a lot of more fickle gamers.

This would be really great, especially for relatively more inactive countries at the moment. The more we can be certain that a country has enough activity to participate, the better. When the event is up and running, we will probably have a new forum section on iccup dedicated specifically to this event (don't take my word on this though). And it will probably be logical for team leaders to post recruitment threads there.

Thanks Each country has its own community and people know each other, maybe not too good, but they do and mostly know who is good for that job, even which players are good enough to be in the team, it's mostly already known and doesn't just have to be chosen by one guy who has the leader role.

so each person applying would write a little (1 paragraph ) bio on themsevles and sc, and the leader would be decided by votes. of course only problem is you can't control who votes for which conuntry. so we would have to trust the tl community to do proper voting. of course there would be a deadline for applicants to submit their nomination. and the polls would go up for lets say two weeks and then would be decided on most number of votes. in case of a tie. the poll would stay up longer.

We can then see if we need new ones judging from the team's condition. How's that sound? For countries who are in need of leaders, yeah masterbreti I like that idea.
