Boxer choosing to use lockdown and blind cloning is his own daring artistic style. He knows the risk of using them, and he knows the payoff as well (Not just because they are somewhat effective *referring to blind, but it's eye-candy for the fans). But seeing yamato & SV cloning is much more common in that i think because it's a relatively safer/ideal choice for the majority of Terran pros. Xellos cloning his SCV's is a good example as he is known to play by the book. It's safe, but the micro lvl is insane to pull that off as fast and accurate as he can. | ||

I was watching Boxer vs Didi earlier today (the mass blind game) for no particular reason other than being bored... I mean, Boxer died with like 4k min 3k gas or something crazy like that, he had plenty of time to build appropriately, but he had to play cute, which is fine, though he lost that game when he shouldn't have. Boxer is far from the best player nowadays, but people absolutely love him, because frankly, he's entertaining as hell to watch, you never know what he's gonna do. | ||

It's the same reason, why Oov isn't winning everyhing anymore, people realized that for example a aggressive Z could beat his 3 marine ex and so forth. Now there will be more new players good at countering a macro-style game, because those players are on top right now. Which means that Boxer will be more successive in the future with his micro. | ||
