2-0 winner, who the hell is this dude sHy!
- Your feelings on entering the MSL for the first time? ▲ I'm still in a daze, right now it's break but all the teammates have been helping me practice anyways. I'll have to treat them to dinner.
- You're undefeated so far, from the preliminaries until now. What's your goal for the MSL? ▲ I hope to break through the group stages and advance to the Ro16, or even better, the Ro8. In intra-team rankings I'm somewhere around the middle of the pack.
- You also achieved your first televised win. ▲ I was very lucky. During practice I never encountered any situations like this, so I thought I would be very nervous, but as soon as the match started I felt completely relaxed and not nervous at all.
- In the first game, you perfectly blocked wave after wave of attacks. ▲ After I defended the first wave, I thought I'd won, but a second attack came and my defenses were nearly broken. I focused more on defending after that.
- What is it like practicing PvZ with Jaedong? (lol) ▲ Both Jaedong and Killer helped me practice during the break. Especially today, I practiced 6 or so games with Jaedong before coming to the stadium, and I lost them all. It was a big hit to my mindset, but he gave me a lot of valuable advice and restored my confidence.
- You were disadvantaged in the second match, were you worried? ▲ The opponent didn't have a robotics, so I thought I had a chance to win with a Reaver/Dragoon push. At the same time my natural was being harassed by DTs, so if my attack had failed I would have GG'd.
- Introduce yourself a little. ▲ I was drafted into Hwaseung OZ in March of this year. I'm a senior in high school. Back when Blue Storm was still in play, I was a Terran player, but after watching some of Bisu's matches I changed to Protoss - I was just 16 then. I generally prefer playing a reactive style, but I also like attacking.
- Last thoughts ▲ Thank you to all of the teammates that helped me practice. When we have free time I'll definitely treat you all to dinner.
Thanks infinitestory for most of the Classic interview!
- Thoughts on entering the MSL? ▲ It was very difficult advancing today. I'll work hard to play more exciting games in the MSL proper.
- You played against Movie twice. ▲ I practiced by watching Movie's match against Frozean. Additionally, a lot of STX Terrans have lost to him, so I couldn't lose. Although the first loss was very regrettable, I was still able to win in the end.
- You defeated Hyuk in the loser's match. ▲ On the whole the match went as I thought it would. It went very smoothly.
- In the last MSL you were in Flash's group, and got eliminated with two losses. ▲ This time my goal is to make the Ro16. Once I do that, then we can talk about other goals.
- What happens if you run into Flash again? ▲ I really, really hope he doesn't draw me. (haha) Right now, the gap between our skill levels is enormous, so after I improve some more we'll see.
- How did you practice during the PL break? ▲ Yesterday and today were off days for our team. I haven't rested; I've been practicing this whole time. I'm ecstatic that I advanced. Thanks to the teammates who helped me practice. I'll definitely treat them to a meal.
- You still haven't done very well in SPL. ▲ I haven't had so many opportunities to play, and I'm not strong enough to be a solid choice to play at the moment. If I can ride today's momentum from advancing, I'm sure I'll do well in the proleague.
- Anything else? ▲ Today was tough, so I can't perform like last year, getting eliminated quickly 0-2.

This must be so frustrating. XD Unless you have the right mindset, learn from each loss and take it as a valuable lesson on what you can improve you'd go crazy after a couple of days practicing with JD.
Thanks for translating! ^__^

lol Hwaseung's "treat everyone to dinner" business..
Gogo Princess and Shy! Oz's hopefuls :D

i love it when kids just come out of no where, kind of like afrotoss. i hope both do well and that shy will help out oz

Why would he have to treat his teammates to dinner? They still have some of that STX chicken. New protoss is always nice though.

Hopefully, he will show us some nice games in the MSL. Looking at his "wasn't nervous at all" statement, I hope to see him playing in the Proleague anytime soon. He could replace Sky there...or Hiya since it seems he is practicing new builds all day long.

so thats what happened.. Jaedong, the confidence crusher probably what happened to most of Oz and Jaedong failed to revive them
|
Shy and Princess 2nded , could be a nice potential few players to help lift up oz.

Jaedong, crushing noobs and building them back up on Oz; he'd make a great drill sergeant.
This sHy dude impressed me, I know his opponents weren't exactly top tier but his victories were never in danger.

sHy wasn't a surprise. Hyuk and Movie are both playing worse than no-name b-teamers, and there are a good number of rising stars this season (Paralyze, Sun, Shy, and Soulkey is still new-ish)
