I wanted to see a statistics list that included more than just who has the most titles. So I dug up a few statistics up that show long-term moderate individual league success. Some people, like me, really love statistics so this might appeal to them. First the basic for those that do not know:

Most OSL and MSL wins:

1. (T)NaDa 6
+ Show Spoiler +
2. (Z)Jaedong 5
2. (T)Flash 5
2. (T)iloveoov 5
5. (Z)sAviOr 4
6. (T)BoxeR 3
6. (Z)July 3
6. (P)Bisu 3
9. (P)GARIMTO 2
9. (P)Nal_rA 2

Now let's sort it by finals appearances, so golds and silvers are equal. The numbers next to the players are finals appearances, golds, and silvers in both the OSL and MSL.

1. (T)NaDa 10 6 4
+ Show Spoiler +
2. (Z)Jaedong 9 5 4
3. (T)Flash 7 5 2
4. (T)BoxeR 7 3 4
5. (Z)sAviOr 6 4 2
6. (T)iloveoov 5 5 0
7. (Z)July 5 3 2
8. (Z)YellOw 5 0 5
9. (P)Bisu 4 3 1
10. (P)Nal_rA 4 2 2
11. (P)Reach 4 1 3
11. (Z)ChoJJa 4 1 3
11. (P)Stork 4 1 3

Next we take a look at the most Semi-final (Ro4) appearances across both the OSL and MSL. The list has identical participants (besides GoodFriend), albeit in different order. This means that there are really no kings of semi-finals like there are kings of silver.

1. (T)NaDa 11
+ Show Spoiler +
2. (Z)YellOw 10
2. (Z)Jaedong 10
4. (T)BoxeR 9
4. (T)iloveoov 9
4. (T)Flash 9
7. (Z)ChoJJa 8
7. (P)Nal_rA 8
9. (Z)sAviOr 7
9. (P)Bisu 7
9. (P)Stork 7
12. (P)Reach 6
13. (T)Goodfriend 5
13. (Z)July 5

Finally, a list of the most Ro16 appearances in the OSL. This shows the long term success of many players, even if they never graced the top 4 very often.

1. (T)BoxeR 13
1. (P)Stork 13 (14)
3. (Z)YellOw 11
3. (T)NaDa 11
3. (Z)July 11
6. (P)Reach 10
6. (T)Flash 10(11)
8. (P)Rock 9
8. (P)Bisu 9
10. (T)XellOs 8
10. (Z)GGPlay 8
12. (Z)ChoJJa 7
12. (Z)Gorush 7
12. (Z)JJu 7
12. (T)Goodfriend 7
12. (Z)YellOw[ArnC] 7
12. (T)Hwasin 7
18. (Z)Jaedong 6(7)

Other OSL Ro16 total appearances, may or may not the only ones with that amount:
+ Show Spoiler +
(Z)H.O.T-Forever 6
(T)TheMarine 6
(P)Kingdom 6
(T)iloveoov 6
(T)Iris 6
(T)Sea 6
(T)Fantasy 6
(P)GARIMTO 5
(Z)JinNam 5
(Z)MuMyung 5
(Z)ZergMaN 5
(T)Sync 5
(T)Casy 5
(Z)sAviOr 5
(T)Midas 5

Total MSL Ro16 appearances:

1. (T)NaDa 15
2. (Z)ChoJJa 11
2. (T)XellOs 11
2. (P)Nal_rA 11
5. (T)Hwasin 10
6. (T)BoxeR 9
6. (T)iloveoov 9
6. (Z)sAviOr 9
9. (Z)YellOw 8
9. (Z)Jaedong 8
11. (T)TheMarine 7
11. (P)Zeus 7
11. (Z)JJu 7
11. (T)Light 7
11. (T)Flash 7

Other MSL Ro16 total appearances, may or may not the only ones with that amount:
+ Show Spoiler +
(T)Sync 6
(P)Reach 6
(P)Kingdom 6
(Z)July 6
(Z)Kwanro 6
(P)free 6
(P)Bisu 6
(T)fOrGG 6
(P)Kal 6
(T)ChRh 5
(Z)JinSu 5
(T)Goodfriend 5
(Z)Silver 5
(Z)GoRush 5
(T)Midas 5
(P)Stork 5
(T)Canata 5
(P)JangBi 5
(T)Sea 5

Parenthesis is what the total will look like in a month for players that have a guaranteed seed into the Ro16. Stork will soon have the most OSL Ro16 appearances, and will have appeared in 14 of 30 total OSLs. Also interesting is the lack of iloveoov and savior in the OSL, who are more known for their MSL dominance. Rock, with an astonishing 9 OSL appearances, never made a single semi-final.

Errors are possible, of course. If you catch any, let me know. I hope to be the first to have done an OSL Ro16 appearances list, but if there is another oh well, I couldn't find it.

Heh it's funny that JD and Flash have both the same number of titles, and also the same amount of final appearances.

Anyway, yay NADA =)

Oops, fixed the Flash finals. He has 2 less silvers than JD.

Nada is still indisputably the most successful progamer in terms of titles, but he'll probably be overthrown very soon, assuming Flash and Jaedong's careers don't terminate prematurely due to the whole Blizzard/KeSPA ordeal...

YellOw always makes me sad. Clearly the best player without a title

poor stork... he's such a good player, but just can never win when it counts. Also its interesting to note that all the players who have won the most medals are considered Bonjwas except Jaedong.

Coulda done without savior. I thought for sure someone had put together this information together before? Maybe it was just outdated? Anyway thanks for compiling an updated list.

Jaedong does kind of stand out, but I'm also sure that everyone are very aware that Jaedong would most likely be considered the strongest Bonjwa of them all if his period of dominance didn't happen to coincide with Flash.
If one wants to be like that one could say that the Bonjwas are Boxer + the players that have been more succesful than him

Statistics like these are always fun, an update with MSL later on would be swell.

What prevented Jaedong from being the "2009 bonjwa" is his inconsistency of OSL/MSL wins, whereas Flash won three in a row vs him in 2010 as well as reaching 6 finals in a row.
