Thanks! Central district has trees... I wonder if the units won't get stuck on them like they did on Demon Forest... and WTB snow/ice tileset maps D:

they dont use the snow/ice tileset because it hurts the progamers eyes with long practice

snow and ice tend to strain the player's eyes....

Benzene looks like Destination and Match Point's love child. Central districts will be interesting to watch. It looks like a Zerg's wet dream. 3 easy bases with gas.

Man I love BW maps, they just feel so much bigger than those SC2 maps. Also, Central Districts has sooo many bases, leads to some interesting long matches like we saw last night

The maps seem to have far fewer easily defensible positions for Terran than the ones that are getting tossed out. Might make it harder for Flash to maintain his dominance, but we'll see...the kid is smart.

Circuit Breakers looks really hard to defend if players spawn horizontally to each other.

The mineral position for central plains is strange. The top and bottom mains have minerals far from the edge of the map, as opposed to the middle right base, where the mineral is right next to the edge of the map

too many new maps, I think a lot of them are just way too "creative" to have a good game, however, it will change builds and hopefully we can see some new play.

New maps favor players that attack. Some have different advantages and race disadvantages depending on spawn. They aren't perfect but protoss is dominating. Thanks for links to new maps.

Favoring players who attack? Well that sounds like some Bisu maps for sure. Honestly, I think NR20 maps aren't too good to protoss(except for central plains, that looks like such a toss map.)

Any idea what they're doing for R2? Central Plains apparently needs to go. Other questionable maps: Aztec, Circuit Breakers, Grand Line, and Icarus, though CP has been skewing things so hard I'm not ready to make a final judgment on any except Aztec, which has been P-heavy even with Central Plains in the lineup.

where are the observer versions of these maps, iccup does not have all of them either. just wondering, because i would really like to play//obs on these maps. thanks in advance
