Just a rough calculation: every group has about a 2/9 chance of having one of each race, and we can apply that probability to the 11 groups that have one of each race, so the chance of the groups falling this way are about (2/9)^11, or about 0.0000065%.
I'm calling shenanigans. It seems pretty obvious they went for race variations (1 of each race where possible), and then seeded the players of each race randomly into those slots. This way most groups would have to prepare for both races and we can avoid mirrors at this stage. These groups look great and I'm sure they'll be a lot more interesting than mirror matches.
edit: forgot to add that before randomizing the eligible candidates for each category (by race played) they likely also removed teammates from the list of potential opponents in the group.

Snow is SOOOOO overhyped it's ridiculous - he will not make it past Ro36 and will be forever forgotten (except by CJ fanboys) Bisu and Baby will make Ro8 only to be eliminated Killer will advance over Skyhigh AND Stork (Skyhigh was eliminated from EVER 2009 by none other than ggaemo 2-0 in Ro36). Jaedong will win this OSL.

Am I the only one who feels the OSL is very balanced racewise? Almost every group has one of each T, Z, P.
Hiya and Baby look to have the easiest groups to pass through to Ro16. Toughest groups are A, D, and K. Should produce some great games!

I don't think Bisu will ever get an easier group.

yea, ever since that MSL finals, Mind is like 0-4 against Bisu

Poor Pusan. Kwanro sadly is one of the best players no matter how stupid his play often looks and before that he has to face Leta (who is really bad at Starleagues so I think at least that is possible)

Jaedong will win this OSL. Snow really is incredibly overhyped. He will probably fall to Really but if he advances his chances against zero are maybe 10%. And Killer is neither the favorite against skyhigh and since stork has something to prove after his horrible MST he will probably demolish anyone who advances.

I'm hoping they will do this seeding system for the quarterfinals ala MSL in order to avoid Jaedong v Flash quarters two seasons ago.

Best groups ever! Final OSL belongs to a protoss. Damn terrans and their tanks and ugly zergs with their hydras will all fall to protoss!!!! Go Go Go!

Predictions:
A - Best. Battle of the mediocre matchups in the first game, followed by Best showing his back-in-form PvT. B - Free. Personally I think this is a tossup between Free and Calm, but I haven't watched a lot of their recent PvZ/ZvP. C - Hyuk. Pure fanboyism. D - Fantasy. Not much to say other than he's the best player in the group, and he isn't playing his bad matchup. E - Leta. Not Bo5 means Leta will do well. F - Bisu. Fanboyism; in reality Mind is probably more likely. G - Zero. As much as I want Snow to make it out of this group, I just simply don't think his PvZ is good enough to beat someone of Zero's caliber. H - Action. Shuttle and ForGG both seem very on-and-off these days. I - Hiya. I just don't think Reach has it in him, and Shine's ZvT has always been awful. J - Stats. Stats and Baby both have a decent shot, so I picked this one out of fanboyism again. K - Stork. The obviously better player against two middle-tier players. If Stork doesn't pass this round, it's because he defeated himself. L - Jaedong. Stop dreaming, Movie fans.
Poll Choices: Winner - Flash. I'm not sure how the new OSL map plays out. It looks like Terran can be in a very good position surviving early mutalisk play (and lets be honest, TvZ is going to be the deciding matchup for this OSL). Ultimately, I think it will depend on how this map plays out. Royal Roader - Stats. Legend of the Fall, combined with the fact that I think Stats has a better chance of out-PvZing Zero, Jaedong, and Effort than Snow does. Overhyped - Snow. His PvT is immaculate, but he has shown absolutely no exceptional talent at the other two matchups. Underdog - WHY IS HYUK NOT IN THIS POLL?
Edit: Legend of the Fall just made me rethink my answers. I now think Snow has a nonzero chance against Zero, Movie has a slight chance against Jaedong, and Stats is the most likely Royal Roader. I was also tempted to put Best as the winner, but reason prevailed.

Sickkk, all the protosses mean that JD can finally add to his vP streak and ELO.
