In what ways would you say Korean culture is especially interested in food? (I'm just curious for myself). Especially as compared to what I might very vaguely call white Canadians.

Especially as compared to what I might very vaguely call white Canadians. Talk to a Korean about delicious food. Seriously. =] I can't explain it, it's just like they react to delicious food differently, more enthusiastically. And it always seems to be on their minds haha. I can't explain it someone back me up ![]()

I'm not trying to speak for the entire race here, but as someone who grew up in China I love to try new things and experiment with different ingredients and cuisines of other cultures. Asian chefs like to use a variety of ingredients to try different things. Despite the distinctiveness among Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and other Asian cuisines, all countries have a common theme of liking to experiment with different things and using all sorts of ingredients. Food is just a very integral part of Asian culture. One might say that food is as cultural to Asian countries as art and music are to every country.
