I expect Sea, Iris, Skyhigh and Leta(All Terrans heh) to make it out of their groups. Their opponents are either B teamers or just plain bad.

I don't see anyone breaking out of their group considering the relative skill level of the seeded players and the groups. MAYBE Lomo, if he's lucky. Or firefist.

A:  HoGiL, the only real threat is s2 beating  Mind, in which case HoGiL has a ZvZ fail and s2 advances.
B:  GuemChi, duh.
C: M18M, underrated I think.
D: Leta easy.
E: great, he's not too good but this is an easy group. Flying's PvZ isn't starleague quality yet.
F: PuMa, who's great in practice according to Artosis, and Iris' and Lomo's TvT has been suffering.
G: sKyHigh has no threats in this group.
H: Midas. I've been going against the older players so far but Midas' TvZ is still quite good, and his experience will give him the edge vs GGMAN or Bogus.
I: free[gm]. I don't see FireFist 4-pooling or NaDa comebacking their way to a group win.
J: Bisu. Shuttle is a threat but Action should beat Shuttle.
K: July, since Light's shown weakness to aggressive Zergs.
L: Violet's good all around and should win.
M: Kal. HoeJJa beat him in one game but will have trouble in a Bo3.
N: JangBi is too hot for these scrubs.
O: SangHo, over Barracks who will beat by.hero.
P: Snow. I believe.
Q: Canata, because he's playing PianO.
R: UpMaGiC. New creative terran beats old one. (or Eagle)
S: HiyA is hot and sAviOr is not.
T: Crazy-Hydra will get revenge on Really.

IdrA has pretty solid chances in both groups then, although FBH is tall order of course in the OSL. I'd really love to see IdrA get somewhere in a tournament.

I've always been skeptical about Idra's chances in any given prelim, but I would contend that he has a legitimate shot here. Don't be fooled. HyuN is bad. I mean, he's seriously bad. Don't look at his TLPD stats, watch his games (minus the one vs Flash). If Idra is on his game he can catch HyuN with his pants down, and provided every thing else goes swimmingly, firebathero will be the chokeasaurus he always is and drop the ball.

Group E: GosI[Flying] vs by.great (This is a hard one to call, the winner depends on Gosi's momentum, I really don't think great is a very strong player. So I'll go with GosI[Flying])
Group F: Iris vs Lomo (This seems like the weakest group, and as bad as Iris plays @ times, he should advance from Lomo, Iris wins.
Group G: sKyHigh vs Tempest (I Really like Tempest and if sKyHigh doesn't bring his A game, I think Tempest will walk through him, Tempest is pretty underated and remember he gets to practice with Flash. However, favourite is sKyHigh for the time being)
Group H: Luxury vs Midas (Luxury takes it, now, this is a rather unusual group to call with so many new players. From what I have seen from TurN, Bogus, and Tazza, they can all sort of compete but if Luxury can Actually play instead of toss some games, he will take this group.)
Group I: free vs NaDa (I don't think FireFist will beat NaDa... and this is quite the easy pick, I'd be VERY surprised if NaDa won, + I don't like his continuing chances, so I will obviously go with free.)
Group J: Bisu vs Shuttle (Bisu wins, even though he seems to be slumping, I think that Bisu is always just a little better than Shuttle. Also, even though Action seems pretty solid, we can't forget that Shuttle is still a pretty consistent gamer and he's been around longer, so I give him the edge.)
Group K: Light vs July (Light wins, this guy has been very consistent, and lately seemingly stronger.)
Group L: Violet vs Much (Violet wins, he's a very strong player, with all matchups, and even though Much is pretty strong for an old schooler, I don't think he will be able to beat Violet.)
Group M: Kal vs HoeJJa (Kal wins, vs ANY other Zerg than Jaedong, Kal seems to be very strong)
Group N: JangBi wins (lol group? seems like they want JangBi to advance)
Group O: by.hero vs Reach (hero wins easily, his ZvP is too strong for Reach, even if he's not the most consistent player)
Group P: RorO vs Saint (RorO wins, as much as I have enjoyed Saint's recent games, and dislike RorO... I think he will somehow edge out Saint.)
Group Q: Canata vs PianO (Canata wins, Canata is pretty underated, and he is a very strong TvTer, also, I can't Remember the Last time I saw PianO even play...)
Group R: UpMaGiC vs Jaehoon (Jaehoon will kill himself, UpMaGiC will take this one easily)
Group S: HiyA vs sAviOr (HiyA wins, HiyA seems pretty strong, and I don't think BaBy has been consistent ever since his monster performance in GOM TV.)
Group T: Really vs Crazy-Hydra (Really wins, he is the man, and has been ever improving lately)
Group U: firebathero vs HyuN (HyuN wins this group, as much fun as it would be to see a foreigner (even IdrA) win some games in an OSL, I don't think he has any chance. Also, HyuN is a strong player, and firebathero's inconsistencies and slump (even tho he somehow decimated SKT) will not allow him to progress.
Group V: hyvaa vs LuCifer (hyvaa wins, this should be easy for hyvaa even with his lack of recent performances)
Group W: Best vs 815 (Best wins, I don't like 815's chances if he were to advance, so I hOpe Best will hold and win his group)
Group X: RuBy vs Horang2 (RuBy wins, I dislike Horang2's inconsistencies, and since his early success he hasn't backed any of it up)

and oh god bisu, i can literally sense him losing to either action or shuttle. yes, shuttle. this kid is really good, but doesnt get the playtime he deserves.

I desperately want NaDa to qualify, but in all likelihood, he'll break my heart again. IdrA has a decent chance if FBH does his usual fail vs Protoss routine. Not a good one, but there's been bigger upsets in prelims than that.

i wouldn't call him a B-class progamer. He's the #1 Zerg on CJ's B-Team, which means he isn't better than EffOrt and sAviOr, but not far below

Not that I want him to, I desperately want to see him win, but Action is hot and Bisu has been losing to new players, and hasnt shuttle beaten Bisu before? If not Bisu has lost enough PvP to scrubs recently anyways. Please prove me wrong Bisu!

Shuttles only 2 PvP losses are vs Bisu hes 0-2 vs him, and Bisu just recently smashed Action on Match Point in proleague. That said I can see him lose vs both on a bad day.

Overall, the OSL qualifications have a lot less potential for upsets than the MSL ones. This makes it somewhat harder for up and coming players to qualify, but hey, if you're going to qualify, you're going to qualify.
Group A - HoGiL
Group B - GuemChi
Group C - Sea
Group D - Leta
Group E - Flying Legend of the Fall! Flying has a lot of potential, and it wouldn't be surprising if he won his group.
Group F - Iris
Group G - sKyHigh
Group H - Luxury should win his group, although I can see Midas coming out as well.
Group I - free[gm]
Group J - Bisu If he gets his stuff together, he should make it out, however Action and Shuttle have some decent potential as well.
Group K - Light As much as I'd want to give this group to JulyZerg, Light is the favourite here.
Group L - Violet
Group M - Kal
Group N - JangBi
Group O - by.hero
Group P - RorO This is a really tricky one, most anyone could win it. Still I'd give RorO the advantage here.
Group Q - Canata
Group R - Jaehoon Now is the time for this guy to make some ruckus in the Starleagues. UpMaGiC can possibly steal the spot, however.
Group S - HiyA I think sAviOr is somewhat lacking in potential right now, however if he gets to play HiyA, he might be able to take it.
Group T - Really
Group U - firebathero Most peopel probably want to see IdrA come out, but even if he beats HyuN, firebathero is in top shape, making it quite the unlikely occurence.
Group V - GoRush This guy is going to tear it up, just you wait!
Group W - BeSt
Group X -RuBy
Possibly, Horang2 can get out of this one, but RuBy is a pretty solid player.

Plenty of people are already seeded, ggtemplar. 12 of the round of 16 guys are seeded into the ro36 automatically. The semifinalists are seeded into the ro16 automatically.
