yeah, this show is good for the progaming scene i guess because it gets more attention publicwise and all that jazz, but still it just kills me when hes goes like yeah boxer helps me and stuff when hes clearly not interested at all in learning the game, hes just in it for the fame that comes with being a progamer.
sorry for the fans and all but episode 9 was just too much for me, talk about hype over nothing whatsoever.
He already has a full-time day job as a singer/actor and night job as a radio DJ. With whatever free time he has left in his 24hr day (ie. 2-3hrs), he practices SC. What's wrong with that attitude?
Just in it for the fame that comes with being a progamer? SS501/Hyungjun were already hugely popular in Korea/Asia before Hyungjun did this show. You're so clueless.
It's a tv show that was meant to spread the popularity of SC and show the audience how real progamers live day to day. You sound so silly with your rant.

well maybe my rant didnt come out quite as i wanted it. but i think its generally the wrong approach to progaming, knowing the pros and occasionally getting tips from them over a handycamera? it just seems to silly to me, i mean they tell him you need to work on defending your expos, and hes like ok got it... and im like got what?! you know...?
anyway, if you people think that famous people wouldnt have the need for or wouldnt want to have any more fame you guys are just fucking blind. yeah sorry about bashing this show, it definitly has its moments, like seeing those srs gamers dancing and goofing around, i admit it, thats pretty cool, im still megaloannoyed by hyungjoon. and about his singing career, this base-snare-base-clap pop music, the most simple form, no song writing skills needed, no voice needed, his pretty face is enough for that, so i dont feel like this is taking ANY (and i mean this) work at all, also the radio show, doesnt need any work or effort, so dont tell me he doesnt have the time for more starcraft..
|
Some ones mad hes not successful/good looking. I mean if you can make money making shitty music ( in your opinion not many others ) wouldnt you? Dont say Naw man i would for the love of the music because we all know thats a load. But seriously Its a fun show so take it as that. Seems like you have a vendetta against the kid regardless of what he does even before finding out what hes capable of.

I don't like this word, but you're sounding like you're butthurt. Some people with little to no knowledge about the sc pro scene think it's an exaggeration to say progamers practice 14 hours a day. That's just like you claiming a k-pop idol doesn't work hard. They live off dancing and practicing all day, plus working out and keeping a perfect body at all costs, having singing lessons (you say it takes no voice, but it does, more than you think, in fact tons of kpop boyband and girlgroup members are incredibly good singers, some have solo careers too, if you want a boyband made of full fledged singers, see 2AM), performing over and over again and making appearances as a guest in other tv/radio shows or other random things he's invited for. Compared to that, having a radio show seems effortless, but it still takes time. By the end of his day, he has little to no time to practice for starcraft.

yeah okay guys whatever, his music is genius and he is the best zerg to ever live, i get it.

Progamers are not nearly as famous as this guy. HyungJoon is just doing this show because he's a fan of progaming. He wants to get to know the progamers that he watches on tv and try to get better at starcraft. He's not really trying to be a progamer.
I think this show tries to show another side of progaming. They want to show that audience that progamers aren't just nerds that play starcraft 14 hours a day. An example is when MBC Game played soccer together.

yeah you got me man, i gotta admit that was one of the greater moments of this show. but surely not because of the main character. as i said, i like the show, i watch the show, i think theyre trying to do a good thing, just not a fan of the character... okay yeah hes a person, but thats my problem, this guy that we as an audience get to know seems so 2 dimensional in general and uninteresting that its a little pain to actually watch.
but as a starcraft fan you watch it anyways, so i will just shut up as i should and ignore my - i admit it - unnecessary rage, sorry fans go on go on, i never said a thing. please forgive me.

jiyeon and eunjung become stargirls.
oh i wish =[

Okey, now understand why Hyungjoon said he never saw the homepage of the show. People are criticisming no matter what he does because he is an idol. I saw the raw episode 10 and i dont understand Korean but i think he is quite pressured about this show anyhow. Things that someone not good at, challenges and losses, being a progamer is not easy
I enjoy a lot from this show. The ending is a little weird but anyway good job. Also the sub team. Lots of thanks.
P.S. Yo my brother, being a DJ doesnt need any work or effort?? Come on, my best friend is a DJ and you know how many hours he spends per day just on listening to the latest music from different countries. Doing good job needs effort, any job, unless you want a bad one

he didn't need to do this show he is already rich and famous ... maybe you have never seen any korean tv but he is all over it. as someone else said he has a day job, korean idol singers work harder than any people i have ever seen some say they are over worked, so for him to try to become a progamer was clearly because he loves star craft and wanted to try something new, i cant see why you are so upset about this.

I haven't started ep 10 yet, having trouble finding time/motivation to do it because I really hated ep 10. I will do it eventually.

It'll be hard filling 10 episodes with the training it takes to be a stargirl.
