Hopefully there will be a second season. MBC set up a poll on Saturday asking viewers which programme is their favorite and 94% of the votes are going to Hyungjun's show. All the rest of the programmes on the poll are currently still running, only Hyungjun's show has completed its run so maybe they're considering a second season. *fingers crossed*

are dsp really willing to give up hyungjun for another 3 months though? i doubt it.
would be pretty sick though if they picked up a new idol, kyuhyun from suju anybody?

Picking another idol is like hitting the reset button on Star Craft learning, even though Hyungjun really never had much of a chance. It will also probably be rather awkward for the MBC team, and especially Shark.
Feels like this is a one-time thing. Once the freshness of peeking into the progaming world wears off, the show will simply be rehashing stuff.

NalRa on the other hand is serious about qualifying (also I think he said if he qualifies he will try pro SC2)

SS501 are reportedly going to spend the entire month of May promoting their album, after that there's really nothing much scheduled. But their contract expires in June so hopefully it will get renewed cos DSP has a gd relationship with MBC.
If they ever film a season 2 with Hyungjun, it might revolve around some other premise and not abt getting his license anymore.

Sorry Super Junior fans but IMO Kyuhyun= boring. A terribly bland personality plus he's already friends with many progamers/MBCgame presenters so there won't be any funny awkward moments. Plus he's a decent player. Hyungjun's show was funny cos well, he really sucked in ep. 1.
At this point, it's all speculation I guess. No word from MBC but the fans on the boards just keep requesting for a second season.
Although, this would never happen, it would be really funny if they filmed a show like "Progamers form a boyband" cos there's definitely some boyband material among the players who appeared on the show. LOL

They should also have that progamer who could rap well appear on the show.

Not sure about the making money from this show thing. It's a great show, but it doesn't feel like a big budget one. Although SS501 is very popular in Korea, HJ has been known for doing shows with low payment.
In Ep4, some lines were not translated into English sub. i.e. When HJ invited Shark to his 2am daily radio program in Ep4, he had told Shark that they weren't able to pay Shark any guest fee. Because the show's low budget, it's only enough for 1 PD, 1 script writer and 1 host. HJ had asked Shark if he was OK with being a no pay guest. (FYI: It's very common to have multiple writers and hosts in a radio program in Korea.) For HJ, this show is probably more about making his own name outside ss501.

But in Korea, as far as most people in e-sport concern, this show greatly promote e-sport to different circles. A high school Korean boy actually left a thank you note on the official board because this show changed his parents' attitude toward Starcraft from distaste to interested!! :D

I agree, I've been seeing this "+1" all over the forums. I'm not saying people should be automatically banned for it but maybe a warning if they do it more than once, something like that. But thank god they've been diligent about banning the "inb4" people.
