The 'month' starts from the 5th of that month til the 4th of the next month, hence games from December 5th to January 4th 2010 are counted.

1. (T)Flash - 22 consecutive wins in TvT
Flash defeated Samsung KHAN's (T)firebathero on the 4th on January, setting a new record for most number of consecutive official wins in TvT. He also got 20 consecutive TvT wins in Proleague.

2. (T)Flash number 1 winrate
Flash's official winrate hit 69% (198W 90L), breaking Hwaseung OZ's (Z)Jaedong's record of 67.7% (235W 112L) and climbing to first place in the official winrate rankings.

3. KT Rolster with most wins in Proleague
KT Rolster recorded their 137th win in Proleague, overtaking CJ Entus (136 wins) and climbing to first place.

4. (T)Leta breaks number 1 ranking for most Ace match wins.
Leta took 2 ace match wins for his team in December, getting 18 wins in ace matches overall, overtaking the record held by both (P)free[gm] and (Z)Jaedong (16 wins).

5. (P)JangBi number 1 winrate in Ace matches
Samsung KHAN's Jangbi took a win in an ace match, going for an 82% winrate in ace matches (9W 2L) and overtaking (T)Leta's 78% winrate in ace matches (18W 5L) and climbing to first place.

CJ had most wins in Proleague?

WTF. O.O This is crazy for a team which has never won the finals.

Very cool, thanks for this.
I had no idea about Leta and JangBi, very surprising. Good on them!

Jangbi 9 win 2 losses is a lot less impressive than Leta's 18 win 5 losses.

Woah, woah, slow down there, Kona.

Thx for all the good stuff. They should have also mentioned that Flash also broke the highest streak of all time, defeating Iloveoov's 18-0 TvZ streak.

Good bits of info about Jangbi and Free. Helps me to realize just how dominant Protoss USED to be.

I'm pretty sure oOv's streak was 27 wins TvZ, not 18.

It was 27-3, TLPD used to have less complete data.

Notice that Jangbi's record is over like half as many games as Leta's though.

correct me if im wrong, but afaik the longest streak for any matchup before was oov's TvZ streak which was 18 wins, and now the longest streak for any matchup is Flash's TvT streak with 22 wins.

Isn't it considered 18 in Korea and 27 on TLPD?

This doesnt seem right. If he won one ace match, he was 8W 2L before, which is already 80%, more than Leta's 78...
(And I looked it up, he doesnt seem to have an additional ace win in december either)

Afaik his streak was broken. It was never 27-0. People just looked at his last 30 TvZ and noticed: OH SHIT IT'S 27-3.

Flash didn't get 18-0 even, though.

I dont think that osl/msl prelims are counted for streak and i dont think that some itv match and some not kespa sanctioned ( i think so, i have never heard about KeMongSa teamleague or whatever) so 27-0 tvz record still stands imo

Yeah, i meant that he didnt have an other ace win besides that in december. (which would have explained this statistical anomaly:-p)

Wow, can't believe that Leta has overtaken Jaedong in ace match wins, although Oz has held off on using Jaedong as often lately, I didn't think that Jaedong's past ace wins would have been overtaken so quickly.

Letas winrate is still more impressive than Jangbi's in my opinion, due to the fact that he has played more games and kept his winrate up.

Leta's winrate was higher because he recently lost 2 ace matches, that's probably why jangbi's old record wasn't up to that peak yet.

it's because in Korea, when you are born, you start with -9 win streak.

Ancient Koreans decided it would be fun to throw in some weird shit to the moment of your birth, just for the lulz.
