hehe, 1688 happens to be a lucky number combination in China, it can be translated as "road to smooth and prosperity" :D
anyway back to topic, few month ago I found the OGN stream, and shared it with you guys on TL.
couple weeks ago mbcgame have updated their webpage, included their live stream.
Instead of mms, MBC also uses now rtmp protocol for the streaming.
This time the the rtmp url is rtmp://222.251.133.22:1935/live/_definst_/mbcgame
The stream does not lag for me, and its High Quality

We can embed these on TL if you guys want (teamliquid.net/mbc or whatever), shouldn't be too hard to have them pop up w/the usual stream list.

It's up on http://mbc.ferron.pe (might have to wait a couple hours for the dns to catch up), but both streams are down now, even OGN. Not so surprising since both of them are apparently hosted on the same server - but just a few minutes ago OGN was still working fine.
1688 lucky number you say? Lol. I really hope I won't be around when you eventually reach 4444.

Hey do you think the built in TL streamer can have the option to add bars to the sides of the screen in fullscreen mode? So you don't get a stretched aspect ratio?

Btw, no clue why, but the original OGN stream rtmp://222.251.133.72:1935/live doesn't work anymore. I've added an automatic fallback to rtmp://ognlive.gscdn.com:1935/live so it will connect to which one works.
I'm also working on something potentially nice for those who like watching both channels at once during PL... haha, but it's going to take some time and I'm quite busy today so...

They've been downsizing their streaming for a while now. That hostname used to resolve to around 8 IPs, including 222.251.133.72; it only resolves to two now.

Can't do anything about it. Even on the OGN webpage the VOD player works fine but the LIVE one is down, I checked the rtmp url used by ogn's web player and it's the same as mine, can't do anything but wait for them to fix it up.

In my honest opinion this thread doesn't have enough pages 8]
MBC stream is so smooth and pretty I simply can't express this well enough, the only thing that keeps me from watching OGN also via TL not Livestream is my bandwith which is going to be doubled soon - timing couldn't be better ^___^

Looks like MBC has been down for 1day+ now, I'll have a look tomorrow to see if I can fix it. But it's a pain since I don't have access to the original genuine MBC player hosted on their website.

Their server is still alive, it's just not broadcasting the live stream anymore, or maybe with a different name... could anyone with an access to the MBC official website tell me if they still have something running? No point wasting time on this if they simply brought down their online streaming service.

When I try to connect to OGN stream using my player I get rejected worse than if I tried something out of the "horrible pickup lines" thread on a girl, while the exact same rtmp address works fine using their website. My guess is they updated their streaming server to only accept connections from swf files hosted on their own domain - I'm actually surprised they didn't do it earlier. With MBC being completely unstable as well I think that's the end of the road for our little custom players.
