I think A ranking league is necessary, it can be combined with time zones etc when making up the teams.I also think there should be 2 coaches, 3 would be ideal.

Having said that, I'm prime material for being coached because I really need some sort of motivation for improvement. Right now I only play casual matches with friends when I'm not busy, and most of my losses come from bad decisions in unconventional situations (non-standard early game play especially).
