Ugh. I'm a jerk.
Wanted to post earlier but schdules were flying all around the place, but long story short, I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it today guys. Especially with all the names we had flying around apparently, Louder/Xeris/Slog! Wow!!
The new Mrs. and I recently found out about a program that would allow us to buy a house before we'd have to renew our lease, and still be eligible for the $8,000 tax credit, but we basically had to find a house ASAP and get the ball rolling ASAP. Today was unfortunately the only day that worked for everyone, but to sum up, we found a place and put a bid in for it. There are few things I would cancel on you guys for, so I hope everyone understands... I *promise promise promise* I will be at the next event (work permitting)!

I'm pretty sure if you ask some schools or something they'll let you rent the gym or something, but you'll need to have a lot of networking smarts to get routers set up and everything. It'll be more work but probably much cheaper and better than SeoulPC.
It's very doable. Just need a 24-port switch and 24 ethernet cables :D. And around 15-20 power strips. It's worth a shot since a lot of people have laptops and others can be carpooled for BYOC. Not sure how we'd hook up the internet connection, though, through the school or by wifi ?

Accccccccccctually...
Funny you say that.
The Mrs. knew I really wanted to go today, and she really wants to meet TLers, the first thing she suggested when we get the new place is to invite TL'ers over to game and hang out. Biggest problem is that where we intend to move to is in the opposite direction of the Seoul PC - in fact it's almost on the border of Delaware. For the Virginia folks, that means a drive of at least 2 hours, and I know no one wants to drive that.
Edit: This would be the area.

Hey everyone, I'm going to make a recap of everything that I'm aware happened. Some good, and some bad!
First off, I was about 5 minutes away from Seoul PC and realized I FORGOT my camera back at college. T_T So I wasn't able to take pictures nor videos. It would have been awesome to get a giant group picture, but once again, I wasn't able to do such a thing without my camera.
Anyways, once I get there, there's already like 20 people there! Lots of new faces, all of whom were awesome. Slog4 showed up with LastShadow and a friend of his (sorry I can't remember his ID). Then Louder and Xeris showed up, and it looked like this was going to be a blast! The tournament started a little later than expected due to BinaryBeast failing because of random shitty reasons, so Xeris made the tournament on WGT Brackets.
Games started off, I got a bye as did Louder. Then me and him played and I offraced as protoss first game, and got destroyed (obviously). Game two I tried a delayed 2 fac build after he stole by gas and proxied a factory. He pressured me hardcore so I really was way too far behind to even get an expo up and gg'd.
Crescentia/Duckett and a bunch of other Princeton players showed up which was awesome, and are cool guys. Too bad they were too late to join in on the tournament, I hope they all still had fun!
Then I played Hatchetwound in the loser bracket (only bo1) and the game started off a PvZ on Destination. I did a FE and did a lot of harass with corsairs and got my 3rd up. I destroyed his 3rd and his mineral only, and was sure I had the game won. Yet, He comes out and everything I throw at him, ultras/zerglings just put me and him at playing even field for 30 minutes. Eventually he gets another expansion and I run out of minerals out of all 5 expos of mine and so I built one final 200/200 army complete with zealots/dt's/goons/dark archons/archons/templar and maelstormed a ton of his army, killed it, and yet out of seemingly no where he has like 6 ultras come to save him and as I'm out of minerals I can't defend and GG.
After that Nyoken shows up which was cool, and everyone watched the semi-finals of LastShadow vs Tossim and Louder vs Slog4. All of the games were very exciting to watch and a ton of fun. Then we got a few Team Melee Capture the Flag games which are always a BLAST!
During the time we were waiting for the games to finish up, I sit down and get on ICCUP and do random/fun builds against D/D+ players including the stove, SCV rushing into lifting off my command center into bunker rush etc... They were all fun, and were full of laughs.
After that, everyone but Nyoken/Slog/LastShadow/Tossim/Louder/Xeris went to the Ill Mee Korean buffet and had a good time, lots of Korean BBQ.
When we get back, Louder/Xeris/LastShadow/Nyoken/Tossim had left and were no where to be found, seemingly having gone home. When we got back, we got into a lot of random UMS games that went on for an hour or two, followed up by a 5 game PvZ of me against StorrZerg.
Overall, it was a fun experience, and definitely worth the 4 hour drive I did from college. Would do it again! Sorry I didn't take any pictures!
Also if anyone wants some games on iccup/fun games then add me as [FR]Anansi on ICCUP. Hope everyone had a safe drive home, and got a good experience (despite the smoke, for those non-smokers) out of it and made some new friends (i sure did).

Jesus long post lol you getting on icucp?
edit nice read though

Just got home. Only took two hours to get home (yay for no traffic).
Had a lot of fun meeting you guys. Sucks I didn't get to meet everybody though. I agree with the place being wayyyy too dark and I regret not bringing my own gear too. I had to put my wallet under the keyboard so it wouldn't wobble all over the place. The smoke bothered me a *little*, but only because I felt the ventilation in that place was piss poor. I'm a smoker so I can't really complain too much. I'll try to upload the few pictures I snagged tomorrow. It's mostly the people I sat next to at dinner and went to and from there with. I hope the next LAN is either there or somewhere very close because that drive was just as far as I feel comfortable going.
Also went on a neat little tour of the town with some of the fellas. We needed some motivation going into dinner and 'sight seeing' seemed like a viable option at the time.
