Introduction
Having three national tournaments in http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Germany_Cup/3, http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/World_Cyber_Games_2013/Qualifiers/Germany and of course the http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/ESL_Pro_Series_Germany/Summer_Season_2013 in August to crown the German champion i decided to create a little German powerrank.

The almost famous
1. (Wiki)Delphi
Delphis aggressive and not seldom cheesy playstyle is pretty entertaining, but he is lacking some more constant results and the capability to bring early advantages into a victory in the late game.

2. (Wiki)Acro
AcRo is around for a long period in the German scene as a pretty solid but never outstanding player. His PvP win against Socke EPS quarterfinals was a nice victory for him allowing to play the offline finlas but didn't suffice to get into top10.

3. (Wiki)SaltTheWound
One of the mighty XMG boys. Has a good ZvZ, but doesn't make it very far in most tournaments. Obviously talented, he often struggles with his nerves.

4. (Wiki)kauP
One of the rare german terrans. Has always been around in the german scene. Can play pretty decent late games but struggles against players, who also can play macro games.

5. Monty
To be honest i can't say much about Monty. His recent greatest achievement was the #9 spot in the EPS making it almost to the playoffs.

6. (Wiki)KnowMe
KnowMes famous creative builds never got him very far in tournaments. Pretty sad, but that's life.

The Top10

10. (Wiki)GunGFuBanDa
Some of you may say, WHO? Well he's pretty new in the scene, but being the first of the three german champions of August by winning the Germany Cup #3 he has to appear in the top10. He did beat KrasS, HasuObs, Socke and HeroMarine there and also Delphi, GoOdy and kauP in the German WCG, which speaks for itsself. Again a new german talent for sure.

9. (Wiki)GoOdy
It's been said a thousand times, but you never ever can underestimate the Panzergeneral. He wins the most when nobody expects him to. Also a fan favorite, because of his unique mech play against all races. And no need for evidence why he gains the 9th place, he is just there.

8. (Wiki)Tarrantius
More known for changing teams in the last time, Tarrantius is still one of the better germans having talent and working hard, too. Top4 in german EPS and has in my opinion the ability to grasp wins against everybody in this list.

7. (Wiki)Hanfy
A bit of a darkhorse in the german scene, never really loved by the fans, but obviously pretty skilled. Being top4 in the EPS winning against ShoWTimE in the quarterfinals and ace player for Alien Invasion in team leagues, he is the second best zerg in Germany.

6. (Wiki)Socke
Sockes results were quite disappointing recently. A defeat against AcRo in the EPS, dropping out of ASUS ROG Summer in the first group stage and completely dropping out of the WCS, he still managed to show good results in the German WCG qualifier, in the GermanyCup #3 and in the HongKong eSports Tournament qualifiers. Not having the best form at the moment i believe he will come back soon.

5. (Wiki)ShoWTimE
Another Protoss player being hyped quite alot, but just recently confirming his power by winning his WCS challenger group with wins over TargA and San. Although being narrowly beaten by Hanfy in the EPS quarterfinals he has the true potential to be a future German champion.

4. (Wiki)KrasS
The phantom of the German players. Rarely seen on tournaments, but when he plays he plays pretty awesome. As ShoWTimE he won his challenger group with wins against AlaStoR and Tefel. In the german WCG qualifier he lost 1-2 to HasuObs just one win away from top4. Besides that it is hard to evaluate his skill.

3. (Wiki)HeroMarine
The up-and-coming terran star. Good mechanics and an incredible understanding of the game he could become Germanys best players. At the moment he just hasn't the time as he still has to go to school and can't play fulltime. As of results he almost managed to qualify for the EPS playoffs by only playing 2 of 6 cups, winning 2 Kaspersky Arenas and also showing good results for mousesports in team leagues.

2. (Wiki)TLO
Long time lampooned as overrated he showed his power definitely in WCS EU Season 1, where he managed to reach the 5th place. Rarely seen at national competitions he at least competes in the WCG qualifiers offline part at gamescom. Earlier in the qualifier he lost to HasuObs 1-2 in a narrow duell, but still got it through the loser's bracket. Being a massive fan favorite he will continue to surprise his opponents with his unconventional but sophisticated strategies.

1. (Wiki)HasuObs
Ok, this was no surprise. Residing german EPS champion, top8 in the EU WCS he has to be #1. Being always in contest with Socke for the best german player he is at the top at the moment, no doubt. Let's see whether the king of lategame can catch the EPS or WCG title at gamescom.

Nice rank, Germany for me is such an underrated region with so much talent. HeroMarine (at least when I last saw him a month or two ago) has absolutely incredible mechanics, though his control is rather lacking.

Looks like he won't after all:

Man, I hope some of those German Terrans make a splash, so we don´t drown in Tosses in WCS EU. Judging from his stream, I agree on Heromarine being very talented, like a EU Demuslim. I hope, after school, he stays in SC2 a goes pro for a while.

Delphi has also been around for a while in the german scene, already competing in BroodWar's WCG iirc, actually
