Dealing with Thin Skin

Definition of "Sensitivity". Not making worthless little wastes of oxygen cry.

Ok, so obviously, you're here because some whiny little bitch wouldn't shut the fuck up about you being some kind of meany. Well, the first thing to realize is that it's not their fault, they just have thin skin. Understanding breeds empathy, or so I'm told, I kind of prefer "familiarity breeds contempt".

So step one is to understand thin-skinned little shitheads, and try to figure out what's wrong with them. This is actually easier than you may think, though, because you've probably got something you cry about. The funniest are the filthy little hypocrites that think they don't have thin skin. They're actually thin skinned about how thick their skin is. Despicable little fucks, can't even apply a little critical thinking.

So, anyways, since every person out there is a stupid little crybaby bitch about something, you find out what it is. That can be kind of hard, though, because if you just ask "What are you a stupid little crybaby bitch about?", that question tends to top the list for a while, and you don't get a straight answer. So you have to be subtle. Say this after me. "Subtlety is the key to sensitivity."

Here's a few examples.

If someone is a dumbass, they usually compensate by thinking they're misunderstood. So, if you want to find out if someone is a dumbass, just misinterpret everything they say for a few days. If they start getting all bitchy with you, they're a dumbass. At that point, you should, very politely, say "I'm sorry you're so fucking stupid, but can you please shut the fuck up so my brain cells don't keep trying to run in terror?". See, the use of the words "I'm sorry", and "please" make it polite and sensitive, and will make everything better. You can also try subtle gifts to improve them, like calculators with big, easily pushed buttons, dictionaries, and adult euthanasia coupons. Everybody likes presents, especially dumb fucks.

If someone has low self image, the easiest way to find out is to say something like this. + Show Spoiler [Spoilered for a reason.] +
"You ugly little son of a bitch, are those zits, or facial herpes from your diseased whore mother's filthy gaping twat?"
If this provokes a negative reaction, the correct solution is to laugh your ass off. Now, as far as being sensitive to this kind of bitch? It's easy, they'll never talk to you again, probably won't even look at you again, after that shit, so you're fucking golden.

Ok, so, we have a couple of specific examples, but sometimes you need something more general. So, what is sensitivity in dealing with thin-skinned, whiny little bitches? Well, basically it means never saying anything that will make them act like a thin-skinned, whiny little bitch. Or at least, not to their face. Always say it behind their back. For whatever reason, the fact that you don't waste your time and energy listening to them cry about it makes them feel superior, so they don't mind it as much.

Also, you should take great care to never defer to them. On anything. It could actually be a silent plea for help. They could KNOW they're a bitch, and need people like you to toughen them up. So always make sure you push them to better themselves. (See my award winning book, "Everyone's Better Off Dead" for how to help them become better.)

Ok, this has been a little short, but I'll take questions from the audience if anyone wants to ask a specific question about dealing with specific kinds of thin-skinned bitches.

Examples from the thread.

Ah, so an example from the audience. Your apparent need to comment and demonstrate your utter inablity to comprehend what you consider to be "too immature" of humor shows that your particular area of "whiny bitchness" is maturity.

The correct way to be sensitive to someone like this is to mock them hysterically, because the pathetic need for attention (as shown by commenting at all) utterly belies the fake attempt at maturity. (The feigned "Maturity" is demonstrated by "not understanding" the humor but feeling a need to comment so people know he's "above" it.)

In what world is me writing about sensitivity "attempted eloquence"?

(Note, this is me being a misunderstood artist variety of thin skin, regarding humor. The best sensitive option here is to tell me I'm the most awesome human being you've ever met.)

Obviously thin-skinned about acceptance. Proper sensitivity about people like that is to throw insults their way as often as possible. They'll think it's just part of being one of your buddies, when actually, it just lets you throw sensitivity out the window for a while and say stuff like "yeah, you totally got it right, idiot. What the fuck made you say something like that?"

Then, the "acceptance sensitive" feels like they're part of the group.

Unless, of course, "Do me" is actually you asking for sex, in which case you're thin skinned about being a virgin. If that's the case, I suggest hookers. Preferably the cheap type, you won't appreciate the difference anyway. Make sure you bareback that shit, we might be lucky and have you get something that precludes procreation.

You clearly have "Wannabe Gangsta Thin Skin". This is a common ailment. Listening to gratuitous music about things you'd never do is a form of compensation for your inadequacies. (I'd say perceived, but there's a lot more than just those.) The correct way to be sensitive to people like this is... not to. They deserve the tears you inflict on them.

Maybe I'm just too thin-skinned to understand the OP and his massive balls.

There's several jokes, direct and otherwise, you missed all of them. You're "Aggressively thin skinned", you find a way to try and deflect cruelty and mean-spirited comments by making a sarcastic one first. The correct way to deal with this in a sensitive manner is to point it out, after all, we need empathy, and that involves understanding people. When we demonstrate that we understand them, we're being sensitive by understanding their special need to feel like they've dulled our verbal barbs, when in fact they've merely come across as hostile for no reason.

That actually even results in a "safe" outlet for insensitive comments, because they started it. And the golden rule states "do unto others as you would have others do unto you", so they clearly want you to be a dick. And we're happy to oblige.

Fucker.

Wanting to be part of the joke. So, since I've psychoanalyzed that type already (I need to go through soon and add these to the OP, I think), you can just borrow that joke. Unless you're thin skinned about individual attention, at which point proper sensitivity is to photoshop your head onto a playboy bunny. Unfortunately, that's bannable here, so get off your ass and do your own work.

This sounds like "generic" thin skin. Basically, you fail miserably. Sensitivity for this type of person generally involves slapping them upside the head with a live trout. Given that that's considerably less than what you WANT to do, the self-restraint shows serious ability to conform to their pitiful little wants and needs.

Anti-conformist conformism Thin skin.

You get offended any time someone suggests you're NOT unique. This lines up a lot with the whole "Emo" thing.

Anyways, sensitivity with your type mostly involves ignoring everything you say unless I'm mistreating you, because you love being misunderstood, you pathetic little piece of shit.

I'll stump you and your coat of rhinocerous skin. How to deal with those whose skin is too thin to say "i would rather cancel plans an hour before schedule in order to hangout with some broad that my puissy whipped self needs for security"

EDIT: and this person instead chooses to say nothing and leave me wondering.

That's simple. Ignore them completely. Then, you won't make them cry, which is totally sensitive, and then, when the stupid chick realizes she doesn't want someone desperate, they come crawling back to their friends, and you can rebuild them in a stronger image, through blood, beer, and bruises.

indeed, that is well played. I daresay this is a talent you have.
