Why should you sit and write down his BO, when I already did?
This is IdrA's BO at MLG vs. Terran
9 Overlord
14 Hatch
14 Pool
16 Gas (scout! He ends up scouting terran going factory)
16 Overlord
19 (Overlord pops) Queen, 2 zerglings
22 Next queen
25 Zergling speed
*First queen pops and uses creep tumor at main + builds overlord*
27 *Second queen pops and uses creep tumor at expo + builds spine crawler*
29 Lair
32 2x gas + 2x spine crawlers + Overlord
37 Lair comes up - spire goes down
The 2 zerglings is running around outside T-base, when hellions moves out IdrA builds 6 zerglings to stand at the top of his ramp, while queen and spine crawlers defends expo.
And when spire comes up, he gets his trademarked +1 air instantly.
There's small deviations in this build, ie. later queen if he steals gas. The above BO was taken from the match 1 against avilo on Lost temple. Link. I used this match, be cause IdrA doesn't get harassed early game.

It's scary to see how consistent he is with his build. There's slight deviation, but it's very little.

This build is crazy smooth... Gas hits precisely when he needs it.

There's also a 3 drone transfer right before the hatch finishes so at about 22 food. The # of spine crawlers also varies depending on map, 3 is necessary only on LT due to the cliff. He made 2 on Xel-Naga, and maps like blistering only 1.

Yeah, that's kind of what I expected as well. The photoshop made up for it, though.
And watching IdrA's games.. I have so much respect for him now. I want to switch to Zerg someday because of him..

His build was very good against all other participants in the MLG, but he didnt really do much else, in some of the games, more notably against qxc, he transitioned into ultra's and i think some infestors, but yea, not much variety, now that his build is common knowledge, i wonder what he will do at GSL and how players have adapted to this build order.

who says he doesnt have other builds available? and keep in mind that his build might not necessarily have a weakness so severe that it can be exploited in a game-changing way. maybe his build is one of the first really stable builds.

His build vs protoss is different, he incorporates roaches whereas he doesn't make them at all vs terran. Against protoss he has to be very weary of early cannons at his expos too, though I think he was still being pretty effective going hatch first. It depends on the map.
That's a sick build against terran though, I'll be interested to see how it starts getting countered. It seemed like the only games he lost were ones where he got careless and lost too many drones to hellions as I don't think he made roaches in any of his zvt games.

well, in game 2 against qxc on xelnaga he lost because qxc surprised him with hunter seeker missile. he used that to blow up idras muta ball in the final battle.
