"Just call me CAPTAIN CARGO!" she yelled, as the marines filed into the cabin. He had heard of her eccentricity, but he could never have imagined this. He sighed as he took his seat. One by one, other marines filled the spaces in the dropship's fuselage, exchanging nervous glances.
She's crazy, and we're all going to die.
"I know what you're thinking," a woman's voice sounded on the communicator. James Landings turned his head instinctively and realized the squad's medic was talking to him. "Don't worry about her. They say she can outrun even scourge."
"That good, huh?" He watched "Captain Cargo," who looked about five feet tall, enter the cockpit.
"That's right. It's not the pilot I'm worried about."
James frowned.
"I don't think this is a round trip," she clarified.
Just then, the pilot's voice filled the cabin. "Lady and gentlemen, you are about to embark on your greatest journey yet. Tell me, have you crawled up any Zerg assholes lately?" There was a pause. "Don't worry if you haven't: there are plenty of orifices where we're going!"
The dropship began its ascent. James, who had never been on a ship smaller than a battle cruiser during war time, suddenly felt nauseous. He decided that it must be what impending death feels like.
"We can survive if we stick together," the medic reassured him. She smiled.
The other marines were doing their best to keep their minds off of the danger by making small talk. As the dropship began accelerating, the voices died down.
"I heard this is the part where the scourge start hunting you," a marine said.
"They don't hunt you, dummy, they're told where to go by the overlords. If we're spotted by any, we're fucked."
"Shh, maybe the overlords can detect voices."
At this, the cabin fell silent. The dropship began experiencing turbulance. James' heart felt as though it was about to burst. As the marines swayed within the cabin, the pilot's voice crackled onto the intercom.
"CCCGGGGGHHK... we're experiencing some turbulence, as you can seCCCGGGGGHHK... it appears CCCGGGGGHHK-lords are interfering with some CCCGGHK... our systems."
James and the medic met eyes. Her face had become as white as her suit.
"CCGGGHK... ... there we go." The voice paused, then changed tone. "Ohhhhh shit. Scourge."

you should have added that the MnM jumped out as fast as they could and some didn't make it. so they're standing in awe looking at how organized the zerg base is only to be overrun by zerglings

That was really good. I was getting into it, although I thought there would be some mention about Jaedong in it considering the title of the blog. Like the marine saying we're heading to face the most feared cerebrate of the zerg, known as Lee Jaedong or something  . Awesome though, I think you should make more!

it was missing what it needed to close out the story imo. I can see why other people love it too - great writing.

Nice writing. Though, you could have added more action. Getting hit by only 1 scourge because a hero marine jumped and killed the incoming.
