EPTHello again!
I'm back with an update from the world of Kongregate.com
I've realized that my biggest challenge is from the multiplayer games. They will take some time to get through. Especially those with a set amount of energy per day/hour/session and what not. So the plan is to work on those and play the small and much faster to complete games on the side to be able to have the bigger games aswell as small ones in these updates. But for this episode I only have 3 small games for you =)
Frantic Frigates:
Achievements:
- Churning the Water Badge (Kill 100 enemies - Easy 5 points, 320.000 before me)
- Decorated Pirate Badge (Earn any 15 in-game medals - Medium 15 points, 205.000 before me)
- Furious Frigate Badge (Defeat the final boss - Medium 15 points, 110.000 before me)
- High Scores on the High Seas Badge (Score 30,000 points - Hard 30 points, 27.000 before me)
First of: I really liked this game. I like bulletstorm games and this is somewhat of a bulletstorm game (not so many bullets though O_o)
You are a little ship that you have to upgrade so it get bigger guns, better speed, loot and magnet. You get money by killing stuff and you can upgrade any time during the game.

Boss Time!!!
The catch is that you won't complete the game in your first try. When you die you score adds up and you increase your level which then increase you starting money. So I actually had to play through this several times in order to get my start money up. Fun little game!!
Toss the Turtle:
Achievements:
- Fun and Profit Badge (Earn $1,000 from a single launch – Easy 5 points, 990.000 before me)
- Help From My Little Friends Badge (Hit 5 friendly little helpers during a single launch – Medium 15 points, 960.000 before me)
- Medal Meddler Badge (Earn any 25 in-game medals – Medium 15 points, 570.000 before me)
- "I Like Turtles" Badge (3,000,000 feet (single launch) – You know he secretly likes it. – Hard 30 points, 150.000 before me)
This game was a rip-off from so many other games where you shoot some poor helpless animal and see how far you can get it. I think the Yeti sport might have started the trend? Anyway… You shoot a Turtle from a big cannon and see how far it goes. Along the way it can hit almost anything ranging from bombs to jeeps to the sun to angry earth creatures to aliens. You earn money which you spend on bigger cannons, jetpacks and best of all bigger guns. The best part about this game is that you are active while the turtle gets beaten up! You get to shoot the turtle to get it further. *Insert evil grin here*

As a former artillery man I was sad that the best cannon was actually a tank =(
Normally, my experiences with these kinds of games tell me, they are rather easy once you get all the upgrades. However to get the last achievement I had to farm money to get enough nukes so that I could just continually nuke my way to the 3 million ft. mark. Once I had enough nukes (70+) it was just about getting lucky not hitting spikes or aliens on my way to 3.000.000 ft. I actually hit an alien just beyond that when I got the achievement… Lucky it wasn’t before =) (You can see my highscore in the bottum of the screenshot. Only 19732 ft. more then needed but it was enough!!

- Jurassic Juggle Badge (Jurassic Juggle Badge – Easy 5 points, 94.000 before me)
- Effing Extinction Badge (Wipe out the dinosaurs – Medium – 15 points, 88.000 before me)
Effing meteors indeed. Or maybe Fucking meteors. This game was weird as hell. You gather up mass for a giant meteor and then you smash the planet trying to kill and extinct dinosaurs and other creatures.

Wat?
You gather mass by clicking with your curser. The curser is then a gravity center. Took me a while to figure out how the actually control the meteors…
Not much to say about this game other than it is weird and short – and thank god for the shortness. =)
Thats is for this round... I'm working on a few games that will take far longer then these. Check next episode for that. I hope you enjoyed the read and as always any feadback is welcomed! =)
