depending on your view. over at finegaming now under orangeSo sc2 coaching has been getting big recently, andI have watched my fair share of streamed sessions and it got me thinking.... i disagree with the method in which some of these sessions are done. I already enjoyed helping numerous people build/save on computer parts or software problems over on OCN so why not here in sc2?
THINGS YOU CAN EXPECT
- i articulate/speak fluent english without any accent despite being from NJ (and being ashamed of it...)
- one of the main reasons I am picking this up is watching people coach by playing the game for you. Not only do i feel that this is a poor method of learning but its highly ineffective especially when paying by the hour. My goals to hopefully fix things you do wrong currently or introduce concepts that you may not know in ways that works specifically for you FASTER then in ways currently done that i have seen. Not everyone has the same play style or mindset and while not everyone can be a pro anyone with any style can get into at least masters by perfecting his/her style and my intentions to have the best possible outcome for your game
- i think that i have a rather insightful view of the game that ANYONE of any level can learn from and rather then sit silently in the corner muttering about it i'm going to put my money where my mouth is (hopefully) not only that but i believe im able to convey this insight in a way to post more immediate understandings/progress. im good at this
HOW IT WORKS
- here is just an example. you would give me a replay hopefully depicting your skill/potential or problem and we will watch together I will prob make notes or point things out to you. After or during this replay we go over issues and attempt to fix them conceptually. After this we will play a game with myself or a friend of mine and hopefully we can mimic the scenario that best fits improving in this area be it multitasking or say as a zerg your improper allocation of units to handle harassment or drops and then we FURTHER delve into how that went. you will learn a lot the first time around i assure you and its free so it could go for a few hours baring our time restraints of course.
- specific strats for a more immediate improvement. lets say for example someone made fun of yo mama. now the only logical outcome is a sc2 match to determine whos mom is actually fat enough to sit around the house. lets specifically work on a few builds geared toward immediate success in a matchup and most likely you know the builds but the goal being to learn all the possible outcomes and situations that arise from said build and how to make it the most effective it can be. maybe the goal is to use a strat that puts your opponent at a disadvantage so you can macro safely namely a "macro cheese" or maybe its just a metagame build designed to trick. these are not things that make you better but they do take games on ladder and you can do them without any serious work on your current game most likely

i have been top 8 masters as every race so it doesnt matter what your looking for i can most certainly help you. i dont mind helping lower level players (below plat?) but im kinda looking to see how i can help diamond/masters players primarily. this being said again it means no dif what league all help can/will be given just as long as you are actually here to learn and try to get better.
