Hey I just had my first lesson. I am a gold zerg and sc2 is my first RTS. All I can say is I learned a ton in the first lesson and we didn't even play a game. (I know sounds weird right?) we talked alot about basic mechanics and how to macro better instead of just being told 'macro better'. I changed my inject method to the shift backspace method so that will take some work but it seems much faster in just a couple practice games. We also looked at some common timings and when to start making units to deal with them and how they differ off the different openings. I also learned some tips for dealing with multipronged drop harass in zvt but haven't got to practice it yet. We also talked alot about the whys behind certain strategys and how to execute/defend them.
tldr; great coaching. much different than the look over your shoulder and play the game for you type. explains the whys behind the decisions.

Just want to rep how much you've done for me. It took two days to go from Silver Terran and now I am Gold-facing Plat opponents. Feels good to get better, just got to keep coaching myself now to not make the obvious mistakes of not spending my money and expanding while keeping crisp macro.
Definite thumbs up to how one 30 minute lesson on solid sustainable play rocketed me up ladder.

Hey guys, I am a mid-masters terran and just had my first lesson. Coaching was done in a unique way where he discussed any questions I had and then analyzed a replay of mine to pick out issues in my play. He brings to the table many ideas that you normally wouldn't think about and provides you with tips on how to optimize your play regardless of build order. I would highly recommend him as a coach.

one was my younger brothers account that he just does 2v2 on and i would just do dumb builds in 1v1 on it and it just got masters accidentally.

Hello pn the behalf of Orange/Green I'd say this is the first time where I have something to REFER to. I've been coached multiple times as Protoss and everyone just wants to teach me 4 Gate, and I find that ... dumb. Not only is 4 Gate risky it doesn't always work.
I have a whole essay for my Protoss play! Thanks

This time last week I was silver, yesterday I played my first Diamond league opponent. All from one little lesson and a little critical thinking.

I just finished my first lesson and it couldn't have gone better. This was my first time receiving lessons, and even as a low diamond player I felt like I completely re-learned match-ups which I thought I was confident in. I would recommend Orange as a coach to anyone willing to dedicate time and effort into becoming a better, more solid and focused player no matter what level. During my lesson he emphasized the importance of knowing your scout timings and learning how to optimally react to your opponents build. Furthermore, Orange made clear the difference between builds that will get you the occasional win on the ladder, and solid builds that if executed well enough, will ensure you move up the ladder over time. Overall Orange was a terrific, well-educated coach who helped me spot weaknesses in my play as well as showed me how to resolve them. The lesson moved at a good speed, and there was no pressure to break things off early or pay for more time.
