Main point of this blog - I have a 10-hour stopover in San Francisco Airport (SFO) so I need some tips on how to spend the time well! Probably some locations around the airport area would be good, all suggestions welcome! Thanks!

Well actually it depends on your hobbies since certain people don't really like site attractions. Explain more of yourself because SF is pretty much filled with almost anything you can imagine.

San Francisco has definitely lost some of its glamor as a tourist spot.

Coit tower gives you a good view of the entire city and you can pass through little italy, and china town. The ggb is a must see though. edit: he has 10 hours so redwood isn't going to cut it. Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Bridge are probably the best.

If you wanna shop, go to Union Square. If you wanna see some art, check out the Museum of Modern Art. Maybe go to Pier 39, a very tourist friendly place. Golden Gate National Park is nice too. Japantown is fun too, although a bit small. Chinatown is bigger and way better imo. have fun! SF is the BOMB! =)

There a bunch of cool things to look at if you have never been to SF. Take BART (bay areas version of a subway) from the airport to the city and walk around.
