I've been using a Rumblepad 2 but my thumb is hurting and my brain is bleeding from all the times I've done an EX Skyfall instead of an Ultra, since the diag is a bit funky. I've heard it's supposed to be one of the best D-pads available, but that it also has a huge defect rate which makes me nervous since I'd be ordering it online. How are Madcatz with RMAs?   | ||

 Once you get used to it, I feel like a stick is just so much better than a pad. If you're serious about fighting games at all, I'd invest in a stick. | ||

Might be a bit of an extra load, but I feel like you just don't get the same feel when playing on a pad. Before I played on a pad, I always had thoughts like "I bet I would beat that guy if I had a stick!" because I'd heard from people that sticks were better. I finally broke down and bought myself a TE stick and to my disappointment, I became worse for a while since I wasn't used to using the stick. But after climbing back to the level I was at before, I felt much more confident in my consistency with inputting things such as Ryu's SRK>FADC>Ultra. And... I can't lie to myself about beating someone better than me because I don't have a stick  I've taken my stick around with me and plugged it into my laptop. It actually got me into a MAME arcade game spree where I got to relive a lot of childhood memories (X-Men LOL) | ||

I am so frustrated with this controller right now, in the heat of battle I end up blowing so many qcf/qcb because the pad is small and the diags terrible. | ||
