Two totally different things.

Furthermore what does attraction actually entail here? Just like their company? Sex? Long Term?

Hmm.. for me its hard to explain. With my last gf I had known her since 7th grade (so for like 4 years) but I didn't like her until we actually hung out by ourselves for a few times and just had fun

The term 'like' is also hard to explain though. I mean there's plenty of girls around me I deem attractive but I don't 'like' any of them, I guess I kinda have to hang out with the person and get to know them before getting the feeling of 'liking' them

It just depends. A lot of girls I "like" based on the second I see them because I'm just physically attracted to them. My girlfriend right now wasn't like that as much and it wasn't until I talked with her and got to know her that I became interested so it just depends I guess.

This OP fails, If you mean looks or even a specific personality, its right away of course.

If it's not the typical look or personality I like, then it can obviously take a few days or weeks to be attracted. And its just like that dumb Harry met Sally movie, men and women are not good at being friends, the sex/attraction thing always gets in the way.

Sexually attracted or Mentally attracted? For the former as soon as I've seen both sides of them and the latter as long as it takes to get to know them.

i know everything about everyone i meet within 1 minute usually

though, with girls sometimes it takes a long time for me to start liking them

because it takes time to drink enough alccy to get beer goggles LOL

but nah, i know instantly if i can like the girl, though the way she talks or her personality can obviously ruin it so i guess i never know till 5 mins like what kennigit said

though there has recently been an occasion where i was only semi attracted to a girl then i didnt see her for a year then after that year i saw her again and i was insanely attracted to her

For me, interest is something that comes instantly or never. Once the interest is there then it takes a few days/weeks to find out if I like her; depending on how often we can see each other.
