Hello guys, welcome back on my blog!
After class, I decided to rush to Yongsan and wrote my name on the paper to have a sit for the StarLeague. I arrived there at 1:45 pm and there were already 64 people! (given that the match started at 6:30 pm...) Actually, the ProLeague took place just before the tournament. Woongjin Stars vs hite SPARKYZ. I decided to watch the match a little bit but it was really boring. I don't know why, the match was not bad but... the temperature was really warm in the stadium, and I almost fell asleep...
Anyway, after the match, I met hite SPARKYZ with their fans. It was funny to talk with HakSoo. A really good guy but a little bit bad manner for some points. For example, I asked him what was his rank in iCCup, which difficulties he meet in general when he plays, etc... and ... his answers were really rude : "I'm A+, but iCCup is full of noob". Horang2 and him started laughing a lot and really told honestly "A lot of progamers don't practice on that, the level is so low even if there are good players like Horan who is A Olympic". Well... it's hard to hear that, I was really amazed.
Maybe you guys knew already about that? I don't know. I asked him if Kim Taek Yong, Lee Jaedong, these kind of players use to play on iCCup and they answered "They don't have iCCup account". Then, we talked about how they will prepare the next match against Wemade FOX (Saturday). They seemed really confident, I can't wait to watch that!
After players left stadium, we were waiting for the beginning of the StarLeague. Almost 150 people subscribed on papers in order to find a sit... it was impressive. After that, we entered and watched the matches.
Everybody was waiting for the first set: MS vs Jaedong. An incredible match, and the SPARKYZ player managed to win. As all players who won a set, they signed a hat and droped it to spectators. As lucky as I am, MS sent the hat directly on me, it was really funny. I didn't move a lot, just hold my left arm.
Here, watch from 10 minutes, you will see that MS sends the hat and you will see me hold the hat with my arm, funny!

Here, pictures about the hat:
StarLeague logo.
"Bacchus StarLeague 2009. *Bacchus*. StarLeague since 1999".
Park Myung Soo's sign
Ahah seriously guy, look this sign. Really funny... it looks like a baby who wrote on the hat ahah!
Well after that, a friend to me got the hat too! He was next to me, he is a Bisu fan too. He got the hat after the match representing Bisu vs MenSol. Honnestly, a fucking lucky day for us!! But Bisu lost...
Here the video where you can see him catch the hat! Watch from 20:45!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66ipoH9okXQ
Tomorrow, we will go and watch the MSL, because there is an impressive match to follow: Bisu vs FanTaSy.
I hope all Bisu fans will cheer up, and forget his set today. Tomorrow I hope he will win!
Don't miss that!

Wow.. Congrats on getting the hat =D

Awesome blog man, you are so fortunate to have grabbed the hat.
Although i am sad that Jaedong lost the match, it's still awesome that you got the hat man, nice job!

Funny how Haksoo and Kyungmin (Horang2) were rude to you and yet all the times I've worked with the two of them they've been polite and accomodating (if a little shy in Kyungmin's case.) I wonder why that might be......

You are the best Koreaphile. It wasn't luck you got that starleague hat, you earned it.

I meant that when I asked about their way to practice etc, they just told that a lot of progamers don't use iCCup because they dont manage to find the level that they need. I meant that I was surprised because I thought almost every pro played on iCCup. So when they talked about "A players are not really good for us", I was amazed becausehaving A on iCCup it's totally awesome right? and when you check the eSTRO player that they mentionned, he is really good.

I was simply commenting on how they have both been fine with me in the past. It might've been a range of factors that contributed to their brutally honest attitudes (such as GoSu being a man as opposed to me being a woman, the pressure of the upcoming playoffs, their situation as players who do not get to see the most recognition/play time for the live events etc.)
I fail to see how stating this makes me a 'dick.' ^_^

This is a very carefully worded statement.

What's bad mannered about saying that ICCUP sucks provided you're a korean pro gamer? It's the truth for gods sake, because the korean SC progamers just own ICCUP.
Now you get people thinking Horang2 and Haksoo are some bad mannered dicks when in fact they were just stating that ICCUP is not a good place to practice for them.

But towards players like ForGG, estro players etc who are still on ladder? These are really good and keep playing on the ladder~

It's either a hidden brag (they are nice to me but rude to everyone else) or its an insult (they're nice to everyone else but rude to Gosu).
Please don't say you didn't intend it to come off that way, because I don't see how anyone could read it in any other way. Our users aren't stupid, and you know exactly what you were implying. Consider this an official warning.

Grats on the hat. The only benefit from playing on iccup for them is to play a wider selection of players, but when they limit themselves to their teams they atleast weed out the possiblity of bad games taking up their time.

Go easy on her, getting out fangirled by a frenchman isn't the easiest thing to deal with, I would think a little cattiness is only natural when a newcomer begins rocketing up the fangirl power rank

Seems like you're getting alot of heat in this thread because you're a woman. When women are "bothersome" guys tend to let them know that they are out of line very fast, and tada.
And while I thought your comment towards gosu was slightly condenscending I thought maybe there's something personal behind it and didn't give it much thought. I have no idea why HotBid would officially warn you for this. After everything you do for the community I think you are being treated rather badly here.

My warning of her had nothing to do with the fact that she's a girl, and we fully appreciate all the things she contributes to TL. However, while contributing does give you a bit more of a leash posting wise, it is not a complete shield from criticism.
I don't want to derail this blog any more, so I'm going to ban discussion about this subject because NeverGG and I worked this out via PM. This will be the last post about this matter in this blog. If you still want to discuss it, feel free to PM me. If you want to white-knight for her more, you can PM her (other girls on TL include lilsusie, uncontrolable, and Smix, fyi). Thanks.
