That in order to create life one would need a certain amount of elements, and maybe even chemical reaction in order for even the most basic microbes to form. Now that dumb ass question aside, it is possible that when say certain planetary bodies form that after so many years microbes form but the only reason they are wiped out or aren't able to evolve and spread is due to orbital changes, impacts, atmospheric changes etc prevent it?

What i mean is when elements, and certain reactions happen when planets start to form could life also be created during or after that process.

I'm trying really hard to decipher this, but I just can't find what you are asking for.

yeah

current hypothesis is that the conditions of early earth (little oxygen gas, some sort of energy source [deep sea vents or lightning]) allowed simple organic molecules to be formed, and those happened to form bigger ones, form amino acids, form proteins, and just happened that one (or several) could self-replicate. mutations eventually lead to rna, and so on. well, at least thats what i remember from my bio textbook.

basically, in the right conditions, self-replicating molecules can be created.

Are you trying to ask whether life formed while the earth was being formed or after the earth was formed...?

A little of both I mean is possible that during formation of a planet could all the elements and chemical reactions taken place also create life. If so could that also mean that certain planets in our Solar system and ultimately our universe, also have or had life at the start of their formation.

this is absolutely hypothetical....... we cant actually know that. But one could think you are most likely right.

And yes, the posibility of life in some point (any) is one of the motives behind every mars mission.

the answer to any question in this matter is usually the same:

cant remember the name of the scientist, but he maneged to form simple amino acids from NH3, CH4, N2, CO2 and with some eletric sparks, recreating what the current hypotesis say: the Earth was a giant ball of fire with lightning storm all over the surface, and it became to chill when H2O was form and became a cycle of enormous storms, with evaporates. After a time, some H2O remained on liquid form, with allowed to form the amino acids

to the OP: according to this theory (which is the most accepted so far), this allowed life to be "born", the life that we know... because the universe is SO huge, who knows what is out there (thats why, at least for me, the question "we are alone in the universe?" is wrong.. for me, the right one is "can we find it?")

are you asking if life can be formed like immediately after the big bang? or something similar?

because life as defined would be way too complex to be formed that quickly unless you assume it preexisted the big bang.... which would anger many ppl

Maybe our timeline will be considered right after the big bang down the road

the answer is "of course"

remember the time scales and size scales you are talking about.

life could come and go over and over in a solar system before it's through.

if you're asking about development in certain stages of a solar body then you probably need to be more specific in defining those stages

Most theoretical life in the universe would be wiped out by the sheer number of impacts by asteroids. Intelligent life wouldn't even get the chance to develop because of this. The only reason besides sheer luck that we're alive is that Jupiter mops up any nearby asteroids with its fatass mass.

Doesn't really answer your question, but I thought I'd throw that in there. Read about it from a recent Steven Hawkings article somewhere.

Are you basically asking if abiogenesis is true?

I'm not even close an expert on the subject, but as far as my limited knowledge goes it has been proven decades ago. There's a lot of info about it on wikipedia.

you have to define your version of what "life" is first, before you can answer that question.

Maybe. We'll never know though, we'll be wiped out before we develop that kind of knowledge.
