I am sure there are better places online for dental advice than TL.
usually tl has a good feedback on medical problems..

Not much you can do I'm assuming. Just make sure to keep it clean until your appointment.
Fill it with pieces of candy, that should keep the bad germs and acids out.
Keep it clean and avoid eating stuff that could hurt your tooth, that would be my tip anyway.
Don't eat sticky foods, chew things on the other side of your mouth, drink lots of water, and just go easy on that tooth/keep it clean in general would be my suggestions.

what is a 'dentist' ?! o_O
sounds like some kind of shaman with the ' ' surrounding it -.-

Just two more: Buy one of those mouth wash but it should be one with Chlorhexidine as it is a great disinfectant.
two: use dental floss to clean the hole if or when food does stick in. You can use them for your whole mouth too.
dentist is a medical worker who is specialized in tooth and mouth deceases. The word comes from the Latin word dens, dentis which means tooth in English.

one of m porcelin fillings on a molar cracked while I was eating chicken at a restaurant one day. I thought it was the ghetto chicken but it was my tooth. Now its all sharp and probably getting a cavity. It doesn't hurt/bleed though.

Seriously i think i should fill it with bread or something, harden it a bit and keep it closed.. worrying that il be bleeding from the mouth for like 5 days

Filling it with bread is a bad idea, bread = sugar.

surely you must be able to get an earlier appointment? tried another dentis? apart from that i agree that schould schould use a chlorhexidin mouthwash.
This actually happened to me once. I just left it like that for maybe 7-8 months until a dentist fixed it when I was serving my time in the army. it's all good now.
I just ate and drank whatever I wanted with no extra care towards the hole. Just regular brushing. Sometimes I would get sweet stuff in there and it would hurt like hell.
So yeah no big deal just having to wait a week to get it fixed.

Meanwhile, plug it with your finger to make sure nothing gets in there.
Ask your dentist on the phone? If there's anything you need to do/avoid doing, he should be able to tell you. And asking for medical advice over the internet isn't a good idea.
Dude even a google search would give you better answers.
Eat through a straw as if you had a broken jaw? Like blend your food and slurp it so nothing comes in contact with your teeth. Can't hurt (will taste bad)
Sterilize the cavity with vodka, but only vodka, no wine or beer or other shit and remember to spit everything out. Mouth rinse will work fine as well. Try to eat on the other side.
Alternatively, you could use the handy cavity to smuggle drugs across the border. You just might earn enough to get it effectively fixed for free in the end (and you will meet many interesting muchachos!).
If you say that you're in discomfort you may be able to get an earlier appointment.
I would be skeptical of any medical advice found on TL, and any bright ideas you yourself may come up with.

Also, don't forget to plug the hole in your tooth with your finger so that you don't get anything inside there.

Very true. Especially important while chewing!
