Jaedong vs Stork EVER 2007 on Katrina?
The 'ee han timing' game?
EDIT: Oh you are looking for Bo5 finals itself. I suggest Xellos vs Yellow, Olympus 2003.

Okay yeah I had thought of that one but dismissed it for no good reason. I'll see what I can do with it.
Anybody have any comments on the list I've already assembled?

Jaedong vs Fantasy set 2 of batoo finals
|
Personally from those I've watched: 1st Set: Gorush vs Nada on Luna YATGK MSL (Bo7). Definitely the best first set I've ever seen. 2nd Set: Jaedong vs Stork on Katrina EVER 07 OSL 3rd Set: I don't know but I would nominate Gorush vs Nada on Into the Darkness if I'm not mistaken (same MSL finals) 4th Set: Boxer vs Oov on Requiem in EVER 04 isn't a bad bet 5th Set: Iris vs GGPlay on Python Daum OSL. Close behind: Bisu vs Stork on Loki 2 GOM MSL S2. 6th Set: Gorush vs Nada. Is there any better one?

I'm writing an article and I confess not to know as much as SC history as many people around here (though I do spend a lot of time researching). Just so I get it right, I'm looking for all of you who know more than I do to suggest the best second set of a finals of all time. By the way it doesn't have to be OSL, just most of them are.
Also, while these may not be the best, here's what I've identified as some of the best sets which I'm writing about in my article:
1st: July v Best EVER 2008 2nd: Duh don't know yet 3rd: Bisu v Savior 4th: Boxer v iloveoov EVER 2004 5th: July v Goodfriend EVER 2005 on Forte
I'll see if I can sneak in a 'Thanks to' to the person to give me the best suggestion/one that fits most with my thesis. will always be #1 in my heart.

This list has a serious lack of NaDa

Here is my personal one with reasons behind it.
Set 1: Nada vs Gorush, YATGK MSL on Luna Basically both players were the top for their respective races. An amazing game with a lot of notable plays (such as the Medic Wall and PLAYGOOOOOOO). Set 2: Jaedong vs Stork, EVER 2007 MSL on Katrina 'The turn of the tide', Stork was looking ever-so-confident after his first set win on Persona. Stork though was caught off-guard by Jaedong's mutalisk timing attack, and threw him off for the rest of the finals. He was never able to play as well as he could have in the next two sets. Set 3: Xellos vs Yellow, Olympus OSL on Guillotine. Holy fuck, this is probably one of the most under-rated games of all time. Both players fight each other in an elimination race and Yellow manages to come out on top due to some ingenious lurker drop play. Set 4: Boxer vs iloveoov, EVER 2004 OSL on Requiem. Everyone should know why. I think Boxer vs Anytime on Forte So1 OSL also can come in as well, because Boxer played SO WELL to win that game (mine trap etc). Set 5: Many choices, July vs Goodfriend (EVER 2005), Bisu vs Stork (GOMTV S2), Jaedong vs Fantasy (Batoo), Nada vs Anytime (Shinhan S2).

Set 5: Bisu vs. Stork, hands down. Made me realize that PvP is my favorite MU.

I'll see if I can sneak in a 'Thanks to' to the person to give me the best suggestion/one that fits most with my thesis.
These all seem to be along the lines of strategical plays with a few just good games so here are some suggestions for both sets:
1. July v Best is decent but still shaky because Best was so bad relatively. oov v July on has better players doing the same concept (throwing someone off their game plan with an unexpected play) in a much more high level situation but games like this are generally not going to be great when taken out of context (one game from the entire series).
Strategical: Fantasy v Jaedong on Medusa. Top of the line strategy > Insane Mechanics Bisu vs Savior on Longinus. Biggest impact game in SC history.
Quality: Savior v Nada on Longinus II. Unbelievable. Savior's tactical skill is so good it doesn't get nearly the appreciation he deserves. Nada v Gorush on Luna. A really good game too but the tactical play of Savior here makes any other Zerg look like a newbie. Garimto vs Boxer on Incubus was pretty solid, although the map issue that gave Boxer a huge disadvantage was really lame and kind of colored this.
2. Strategical: Flash v Stork on Katrina, Proxy BBS. First time proxy bbs was done in a final successfully (Nada tried vs oov game 4 and failed). Jaedong v Stork on Katrina, muta/scourge timing attack.
Quality: oov vs July on RoV was a very intense (and rare) early game micro battle. Bisu vs Savior on Reverse Temple. Savior was straight up outplayed w/o a serious strategical disadvantage like in the other gaes.
3. Bisu v Savior on Blitz was a one sided rape that was using a repeated strategy; not sure why that's here (if anything game 1 would be more fitting for the strategical aspect and game 2 for decent play).
Strategical: oov vs boxer on Mercury was one of the greatest strategical games ever, if not the greatest, from both parties. So great that nobody even understood the depth of what happened. This game deserves much more recognition than it has gotten. Use it.
4. Boxer vs oov on Requiem is okay but that's probably the most overhyped strategical play out there (i,e completely depended on oov totally mismicroing the first fight). Boxer has a lot of stunning plays (particularly the one below) but this was not close to one of his best.
Strategical: Boxer vs Anytime on Forte was simply sick. Very short but Boxer's strat and timing was done perfectly. Easily one of Boxer's most impressive games period (also his perilous circumstances in coming back earlier from 0-2) oov vs Nada on Detonation F was decently long and featured very nice recovery by oov after he somehow survived a proxy bbs, by pressuring Nada with deceptively few units while expanding at the perfect timing. Boxer's game vs Anytime is incredible but this is another great option.
Quality: Boxer vs Reach on Forbidden Zone was pretty beastly play by both.
5. July v GF is short and continuously tense. Very solid choice.
Strategical: If you have the oov vs Nada game 5 on Luna just watch that; it doesn't exist online as far as I can tell.
Quality:
Bisu v Stork on Loki is really long and tense. Xellos vs Yellow on Nostalgia is long and tense though not particularly amazing.
Overall picks (use one of the first two Bisu v Savior games that series is too important):
1. Savior vs Nada on Longinus/Bisu v Savior on Longinus II 2. Jaedong v Stork on Katrina/Bisu v Savior on Reverse Temple 3. oov vs Boxer on Mercury 4. Boxer vs Anytime on Neo Forte 5. July vs GF on Neo Forte

I really liked Jaedong vs Kal set 2 on Loki of GOM4 and Bisu vs SAvior on RLT.
