I figure this is the best place to make this request - not really suited for the forums.
I am WCG 2008's Asphalt 4: Elite Racing silver medalist. As WCG decided to use mobile games again this year, figured I might as well compete / use that experience again.
The help request and problem? The games (Asphalt 4 HD Version and Wise Star2) are ONLY OFFERED in SINGAPORE that I know of for this year's OFFICIAL WCG phone. Hence - I need help from a kind Singapore gamer. I'd mail out the phones, said kind soul would install them using their mobile internet (it filters out USA carriers), and then mail them back (I'd pay shipping). I'd also throw in ~$20 for the help.
So - any Singapore gamer that can help, or can anyone leave a contact for one to get in touch with? Would appreciate it, as I'd like to actually be able to practice for this years finals (both US finals and World Finals).

I can't help, but I want to know more about holding a medal in a phone game. Do you ever rub it in other people's faces that you can practice your game on the go? Do you tell your friends? How many hours did you practice to get it?

Rofl. Just have to pay for shipping, train a few hours and you're pretty much guaranteed a medal.

A) No.
B) Yes.
C) About two weeks. Some players had practiced for over 3 months for the event (especially the German player who had won the two previous, unofficial WCG Mobile Challenges).
D) I do not claim to be a good gamer and am aware that the competition is a joke. Just need help in this regard as I figure I might as well play it again.

what is this "mobile internet" that you speak of? also i think the mobile games might be you going down to a WCG lan and playing "lan" with other people so they can referee you. and i have a feeling this lan is over (starcraft final was on 13th june)

I need it on the phone only - not to compete. Mobile Internet means a phone's wireless connection (wap). Basically - need help from someone with a singpore mobile phone account. I would give instructions on how to get it on the phones I send.
There is no cost to get the games in singapore (wcg is offering them for free there)

I'm not sure I understand... "singpore mobile phone account" so basically all I need is a mobile phone and a sim card? Why don't you just post the instructions here so we understand what you want us to do? It'll also let us know if we can help or not.

It depends on the level of instruction one needs - hence I haven't written a guide as certain steps might need more details depending on one's technical knowledge.

so i'll only need an active singapore sim card? sounds pretty easy. i don't mind doing it, though i'll only be back in singapore next week and i'll only be staying for 3 weeks, so i guess i shouldn't volunteer unless no one else wants to in case something screws up.
i don't comprehend what competition this is for btw. the games are only available in singapore, so you want to mail a phone to singapore, get someone to install the games for you, then mail it back to you. and then you'll have a phone in the US, to join WCG US with? but WCG US doesn't have asphalt 4?
