I don't see how anyone could not feel sorry for him. Talking about him seems like a no win situation; can't help but to feel sorry for him, but then you create an aura of being "inferior." Even if we don't think of it like that, if people continually expressed those feelings to him, I don't see how he couldn't feel that way. It equally makes me sad that he has to play into the "I look different" thing. Trying to make light of the situation may be his only way, but I wish he could do something a little more "serious" to gain w/e he is looking for.
