I need Fleet experience. maybe in attacking the small merc/pirate corps that hang around Stargates, some of them usually have nice bounties attached to them.
Bonus Expirary woes.
Almost got caught in the middle of a Faction War or something in Agoze I was just picking up a skill I had bought when Local pop exploded in numbers from 5 to 20. I injected the skill then undocked, aligned to the stargate and warped to 0 close enough to see yellow and red all around me, I jumped.
How are people making so much ISK without doing Missions when they only have a Vexor, I mean WTF?
Drones, Drones, and more Drones.
Ammo, Ammo, buy more fucking Ammo!
Recharge rates are so confusing...

Uh mining/salvaging/playing the market is generally ok. In the end though nothing beats high level missions or 0.0 ratting.
I've never lost a battleship in the entire time i've played Eve but I've lost some monumentally expensive Vagabonds... PvP is not the way to make money, trust me on that >.>
If you want to Rat/Mission run for the most profit get just enough skills so that you can make your own ammo from the stuff you salvage. This way you get nearly 100% profit out of it.

PvP can be very profitable. Kill a cruiser with tech 2 fits and you can make 10 million isk. Its a simple mechanic of you pay 10 mill for a ship, you kill other players and make 20 mill of loot before your ship goes gets killed. You make 10 mill profit. Rinse and repeat. Working in fleets of course means smaller ships can take on bigger ones and still make good money, which is what the TL corp is dedicated to.
Assuming your in channel Teamliquid or in the TL corp, just ask questions. No-one minds if its a noobie question, most people are happy to help.

hmm... pvp can be profitable but it's usually a supplement, not usually the main way of making isk.
Most people have an alt and they either rat in 0.0 or run missions to pay for their pvp endeavors. There's other stuff like industry and playing the market but I'm not so familiar with that side of the game.
You must ask yourself (assuming lowsec of course): 1) Lowsec is pretty shit in terms of targets. Who has good fits in lowsec? Rarely will you find a non-pirate/outlaw with a decent fit where you can actually make some isk from their destruction.
Seriously, unless you're camping a major system such as rancer or amamake or something, making isk through pirating is going to be a challenge.
2) Who solos? Finding someone with a decent fit is hard; finding that person alone is even harder. It's also likely that you'll be splitting isk up with a partner/corp member.
3) Always a possibility of you losing the 1v1. You can reduce this some by picking more speed/range type ships but seeing as how you're gallente; chance are if shit hits the fan, you'll die.
