As I type in this blog there are 9 days left till may the 22nd! The day I finish my IB Exams! For those of you who don't know what IB is, here is a brief introduction:
IB is a pact made by a student usually in 10th grade in which he agrees to sell his soul to the devil for 2 years, in return for a "Possibility" of have distinguished marks and the ability to enter great universities that hold this pact to be great. The student is left without a social life, sitting and studying for the next 2 years until he is ready to take the final challenge which is a series of tests that attempt to break your balls until the devil is sure you cant use them anymore after you are done with the exams.
To sum this up I have 2 more exams to go, and I hope I run away with my balls working after those 2 tests since so far the devil FAILED EPICALLY in trying to destroy them. My predicted final mark is 38 and I hope that I am able to achieve it.
May the lord guide me to the proper path! Let divine light shine, and let us all see the devil himself cry because he failed to break them balls.
Wish me luck !

I've yet to meet one person who thought IB was worthwhile. I think it's just the quality of it at our school though, it's such a joke...

Really? Our school was pretty relaxed during those two years.
Good luck, you'll be free soon.

IB is AP except 6 subjects at once with lots of useless crap to do in the 2 years like projects and portfolios and presentations and a shitton of labs and essays instead of just doing tests like AP and A levels.
Exams weren't too bad so far except bio T.T. I'm hoping for 35-36.
Edit: Also we have a 4k word essay to do, 150 hours of mandatory community service, and a fucking joke into to philosophy class with a badly done syllabus that has seemingly no purpose with just random bullshit with basic philosophy and random cool concepts, its called Theory of Knowledge.
Ill tally up what I had to do on top of normal school work: -2 World Literature Essays -2 Written Task Essays -3 Oral Presentations -2 Oral Commentaries -2 Math Portfolios -30 Lab reports -3 ITGS portfolios -1 IT interview + extension -1 4k word essay on random topic of your choice -1 ToK essay -1 ToK presentation -150 hours of mandatory community service
Its not as bad as it sounds, but the thing is the teachers some of them are retarded and pile all that up in the last minute, so you get something like 10k words of essays + 1 presentation to do in 1 week, or 15 lab reports in a week.

The hardest part of IB is managing your time during the 2 years, since all subjects have project work that can count for up to 50% of the final subject grade - on top of your community service and extracurriculars or whatnot. If your teachers are inexperienced at pacing/setting deadlines, you're in for some fun.
The exams themselves for the most part aren't too bad, since past papers are in abundance and the rubrics for language/humanities are rather easy to play to.
Just finished last November myself.
